Beautiful hotel with excellent service staff and spacious comfortable rooms. Water taxi can be purchased at the airport and takes you directly to the hotel door. Breakfast a bit. Ordinary but drinks at the bar overlooking the Grand Canal were very special

The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San
Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.

As a traveler, not hotel management, why would you think I would know the answer to a question about room availability? That said, 1) you can request types of rooms from the hotel or a booking site with views of the canal(s), but specify grand canal view if that’s what you want because a “canal view” room might overlook a smaller side canal only. There are also rooms on the first floor with large windows (no balcony’s) but excellent views of the grand canal.

If you are driving in from another part of Italy you would need to park it at the train station. Otherwise you won’t need one while in Venice. I’m not sure of the cost of this. I do know a private water taxi from the train station to this hotel is approx 100 euros. I recommend booking in advance. The hotel will do this for you. This will save you from having to lug your luggage on a water bus (public transport) and through alleyways.
