What’s wrong with some of these new hotels? I visited this hotel by myself for work. Very disappointed to see that there is no wall between the room and the bathroom, just a glass. This is not ok for many reasons... it’s very oppressing, as the bathroom is really not a proper bathroom, you get the smells coming from the bathroom in the room, and is really awkward if there are two people occupying the room. The room itself is tiny, and if the door of the bathroom is open you can not get into the room. See my pictures. Toiletries are also very poor. In summary, don’t bother, for this money you can go to a much better hotel, somewhere that does not pretend to be cool but has some walls!
Stayed here 3 years ago and again 2 weeks back. The hotel is still as wonderful as it was then. Extremely clean with good sized rooms. Very attentive service. Breakfast is very good and they were accommodating when we needed to have it earlier because of our departure timing. Hotel is walking distance to the old town and lots of eateries. Will definitely stay here again when I’m in Verona.
Very good hotel, very well placed near town centre and for fair and train station daily displacement. Quiet nights. Very nice staff. Only the car parking was not so easy to access for not so small car.
this is a very smart clean modern hotel.Spotless room, fantastic shower and very comfortable bed.The location is brilliant, about 10 -15 minute walk from the station and about 10 minutes to the arena and city centre. Our room was at the front and had a small balcony with one chair. It did get a bit noisy in the morning but not too bad.The breakfast is in a basement room which is a bit clinical and the breakfast is not inspiring, toast, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, ham cheese and pastries. very good coffee and selection of tea.The staff in this hotel are lovely and very helpful. The train to Lake Garda (Desenzano) is only 20 minutes so well worth a trip. There are lots of restaurants around here and in the centre but its a bit difficult to choose as price and quality vary enormously.Try Ostinati…
not the biggest rooms in your life but the location and staff makes it up for it. beautiful location on a picturesque street gets you immersed into the local daily life and rhythm. meet locals in the nearby small restaurant for a cultural interchange mixed with good, fresh home-made pasta. highly recommended.
