The city was beautiful especially the hotel’s location… it was amazing – old City location. Next to the hotel there is Palazzo and medieval bridge. The hotel itself was not that great. The beds weren’t comfortable and the room and bathroom were not clean. We only stayed at Castelvecchio Apart hotel for 2 nights so it wasn’t too bad. My...

Great flexibility and service offered by the staff (boarding cards, very recommendable 'own' taxi service from and to airport and other destinations, and they immediately arranged a bigger room if needed Located next to beautiful Palazzo and medieval bridge, but on a busy road, so maybe better to ask for a room at the back side. Rooms were large when...

As "Balbec" said, we had the same room (N°21), but one year later... HORRIBLE DIRTY room, no service, really expensive = 150€/Night Broken TV remote, broken mirrors (room & bathroom), broken WC, noisy !!! The bed was bought in the 70th like all stuff in this room... ASHTRAY smelling in all the room... Really nice ! DON'T GO THERE

Don't expect high class hotel, but be sure you're getting incredible old city location for rather medium price. Just few steps away from costy hotels near Arena, but keeping 2-3 times (!) lower price. Friendly staff, private parking (for small size cars though, as it is tiny underground garage), very good breakfast. We were living in studio, which seemed for...

Booked in advance through Hostelworld (no issues on booking) and arrived in Verona from flying in to Brescia Montechiari. Took a cab from the station to the hotel and booking was recognised ok. First hurdle jumped ok. However entering the room (we did get a 'bis' room and did rattle around the door of somebody else's room for a while)....

Was here for one nite on Aug. 11th with my boyfriend and a friend visiting from the States. I didn't book ahead, and actually knew the hotel from a previous stay, so we just drove by and asked if they had a room free. I stayed here with my boyfriend over 2 1/2 years ago, (just for 2 nites) and...

Represents excellent value-for-money (stayed 3 nights). We had a large room compared to general hotel size. Also with complete kitchen (including cooktop & oven, plates and glasses and pots & pans). Hotel also has apartments for long-term stay - ideal for family stays. Friendly and helpful staff. Long (and with luggage exhausting) walk from the station, so consider a taxi...

We decided to visit Verona during late July for two nights, for the food, the ambience and the Opera. I tried to book virtually all the hotels reviewed favourably on this site, but was too late. Whatever you do, book early in Verona during Opera season. One of the landladies suggested the Hotel Castelvecchio, which we took and were given...
