We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights it's in a great Central location. Staff are extremely helpful, booked all our excursions through the hotel reception gave us directions where we needed to go, very friendly staff. Our only problem would be we booked a superior twin room but we actually found the room small upside was it was spotless...

Stayed here for 2 nights in room 118 in October. Hotel is located centrally & apparently in the Red Light district however I think the location was relatively safe. The hotel room was huge and I loved the decor. Bathroom was great also even though the shower is open and water splashes on the floor. Breakfast has a great selection....

Quite a nice entrance to this old building and very modern once inside. Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. My room was at the back of the hotel on the ground floor. On entering the room my first thought that this must be what a bedroom on Starship Enterprise would be like! Minimalistic and practical furniture, not designed for...

We stayed at Romano House for 3 nights while in Catania. Friendly staff and very clean rooms. Spacious rooms with high ceilings and strong air con. Note that the hotel does NOT have free parking. There is, however, a paid parking lot one block down from the hotel. You'll see a lot of prostitutes in the area but don't be...

I really liked my room in this hotel, it was very modern, though a bit small. The bathroom was very nice. The staff was very upbeat and always smiling and helpful. We had the half board, which included dinner at a restaurant around the block called Street Food, which was very good. The walk into the center of town was...

Wonderful hotel just minutes from the center of town. Rooms are new with a mondern look in a clearly old building. The service is excellent and the staff helpful. Breakfast is buffet and well preparred. The only downside was that for our room which was beautifull, the air conditioning was inadequate.

(See Thdor C's recent review) He accurately describes the hotel, staff and the area extremely well, he gave it a single star but I'm giving it 3 stars, here's why. We've been traveling through Italy slowly by train, stopping on route at interesting towns to eat, explore and sleep. All of our hotels have been rated 4 or 5 stars...not...

Not the first time in Sicily for us, an island that seems completely off track when it comes to 4 and 5 star services. You are better off with a 2 star humble rental from the extremely hospitable locals. We decided to try Romano house hoping for the best but left wondering why did we pay 120 euros per night...

We had a short but lovely stay at Hotel Romano - just one night to break up our journey from Rome to the Aeolian Islands. We dealt with Soraia at check-in and check-out, and she was super friendly and helpful with everything - she organised a driver at very short notice to take us to Milazzo on the morning of...
