We booked this place very spontaneously from the airport Wifi. We arrived and were a bit surprised at first. It looks like a big apartement was remodeled with ensuite bathrooms and the living room acts as reception. Everything was very clean and the staff very friendly.

Take a trip back in time with the 1920s elevator up to the B&B where you will be met with a great smile and a spectacular ceiling... and a gentleman who will actually carry your luggage to your room for you... then have a seat in the great communal lounge area on a plush sofa while having a cup of...

This is a charming B & B. The building is indistinguishable from the street but the interior is lovely. My room was small and spartanly decorated but with wifi and television. A small bathroom but sufficient. The owner and staff are very accommodating and helpful. A Mt. Etna excursion was obtained after the one I wanted was full. She helped...

We stayed 2 nights here at the start of our holiday in Sicily. It is a little tricky to find as there is no sign but once you know where to go it is a unique experience from the original lift which takes you direct in to the B&B to the spacious room with high vaulted painted ceilings. It is...

We spent in Catania 2 days and 2 nights in Antica Dimora. We usually choose B&B to stay during our holiday instead of well-known brand hotels. Atica Dimora was the best choice ever! Beautiful rooms, amazing family atmosphere, great Pinella to help you with everything. We definitely recommend this place and for sure we will return there one day. M&M

Antica Dimora is a bit like Catania itself. When you first walk into the Via Plebiscito you think it looks a bit sinister. But the truth is, all the streets of Catania except the Via Etnea (the tourist area) look that way. So after a day you are used to it and to be honest, everyone was friendly and we...

We spent one night at Antica Dimora Caruso, an old world charming, spotless place which is walking distance from the heart of the city. We were received by an efficient and very polite manservant from Mauritius who rode us and our luggage up an ancient elevator to an airy apartment that has a large sized office and several rooms with...

We went on holiday in Sicily and the first stop was Catania. Couln't have been better, since it was a lovely stay that prepared us for all the beauties of the island (landscape, peaople, history and above all local cuisine!) The Antica Dimora B&B was a perfect choice, absolutely best value for money, located 3 min away from the Piazza...

I came on a holiday by myself to enjoy some island sun and the time spent here was amazing! The people running the B&B were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. I had many questions on where to go and what to see and how best to get there and they were more than willing to help me out. Also very...

“I had a room pointing towards the port side and it was fairly quiet except for some noise from neighbors if the balcony doors were left open. Not sure how the street side would be, but I imagine it would be a bit noisier as it was a very busy street.”
