Just returned from a 6 night stay at this hotel. Very comfortable and quiet central location. Short walk to centre. We had day trips by bus to Syracuse Taormina and Villa Romana del Casale and a guided tour recommended by the hotel to Etna with Fabrizio all were excellent. Breakfasts were ok but the evening meals were fantastic and the...

had a lovely, well cared for room, kept very clean and well stocked! free mini-bar [soft drinks and water] - much appreciated! took roughly 20 mins to walk to the centre - younger, faster walkers could probably do it in 10 mins. lots of local places to eat nearby, lovely pastries etc on next corner, open until 9.30pm. Delicious breakfast,...

CAVEAT: Would've rated a 4 for the facility. Neighborhood cleanliness and tough parking, during a winter's storm, impacted overall perception. I suspect that during the non-rainy season, the neighborhood would seem less foreboding - like your standard tight Parisian residential streets off the main drag. Would give the Palace another go if back in Catania. OVERALL: We liked the facilities...

Lovely place, great location, close to the city center. Fresh fish, excellent wine, very friendly staff - offered us extra appetizers - which were very much appreciated. Our first time here, hoping to return soon.

My mother and I stayed here for one night before flying out of Catania. The hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and had a very nice breakfast with a lot of options. The rooms could probably use an update, but ours was clean and had plenty of space for the two of us. The hotel is also in a nice...

Location was good for a visit to the city and, for the price we paid, offered terrific value. The staff were great and the room was perfectly adequate. The open air breakfast was certainly very pleasant.

I stayed at Katane Palace Hotel in November and December 2016 for 5 days during my stay in Catania with a friend of mine. The hotel's location is spot on! It's a walking distance to the city center and it is in a pretty safe district as well. Moreover, the staff is actually excellent. They are not only welcoming and...

This is a good quality hotel. Might seem a bit dated in the decor at first glance but it is very clean and the English speaking staff are helpful. Rooms are large enough and bathrooms clean and bright. They do a good breakfast with a range of fresh produce. The hotel is about 5/10 minutes walk from the main shopping...

The place could be a classic ! It would need some major remodeling - refreshing or overhauling. Food and service was good - rooms are really tired and worn. location is superior, right downtown. Wifi worked which is kind of surprising as in general in Italy it does not work very well.
