This is a small hotel seemingly far away from all the restaurants and attractions, but actually within an easy walk of everything. It's located on a low-traffic street, so there was no street noise at night. The hotel staff were more than accommodating: they went out of their way to offer advice on restaurants, and when they gave us a map they took the time to note where the places of interest were and how to get to them. The breakfast buffet was fine, though we couldn't tell if the fried eggs we ordered were included at no extra charge (or did they forget to charge us?) We tried 2 of the 5 restaurants they suggested and gave both restaurants excellent reviews.

Hotel's Favourite
Beautiful and spacious room. Outstanding hotel staff that were very accommodating to our every need. Lobby and dining area were very nice. Typical European breakfast buffet. Hotel is within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and city center historic sites. We would stay here again.

My husband and I chose to celebrate my anniversary at the Liberty Hotel, and it was the best decision we made. They are a true example of how a hotel should treat its guests. Starting from the reservation process, till the check-out. The rooms are clean and spacious, the breakfast is exactly what a person should eat for the first meal of the day, with a lot of fruits and choices from which to choose. The hotel is a piece of art, history and experience. We truly recommend it.

The historic hotel in the center was amazing. Staff was exceptional and even went out to help me with coins for parking. Also let me park on-site fir security gratis. Great place great staff. What more can I say. They helped with places to go in Catania

The hotel ws elegant - great ambiance. The staff were outstanding - took care of all our needs. I'd definitely choose Hotel Liberty for a return visit. We were there for a week, so we had plenty of opportunities for things to go wrong. The staff all spoke English and acted as our ambassadors for trips, reservations, and translation help. They left us alone when we wanted to be left alone, but were right there when we had a request. They made sure our first trip to Sicily was one to remember. The room had the little things you often don't find in Europe. Plenty of electrical outlets, including on both sides of the bed, able to control lights from both sides of the bed, extra pillows and blankets. The breakfast buffet had everything you could want and you could also make special orders. I recommend including the breakfast option.…

So pleased with this hotel. The picture people have posted are exactly how it is. The reception managers are willing to help with anything and they make sure they hand over information between each other so everything was very smooth. They even found us a restaurant when almost nothing was open on Christmas Eve. (KM 0, if interested, excellent and 14 mins walk from the hotel). Breakfast is the usual spread but with fresh coffee and juices offered as soon as you appear in the breakfast room. Location is perfect, so close to the centre. Enjoying a late night drink in the very comfortable lounge also a delight.

We stayed at Hotel Liberty for one night following our arrival at the Catania Airport. Our room/suite was large and had a terrace and was decorated in luxurious albeit “old fashioned” style. Breakfast was of a high standard with cooked eggs as well as European continental breakfast items. Silvio, the hotel manager, was very helpful with respect to things to see and do in Catania. He was also a delightful person.

It is important when visiting a new place to feel comfortable and at home in your hotel. The staff here are kind, helpful, attentive and extremely professional. Before leaving for Italy I was able to communicate with them through WhatsApp so it was very smooth getting there. This is a quiet street convenient to city center but with no noise at night. Room is clean, breakfast is fresh, even when an employee was getting off work he walked me to the place I needed to go so I would not get lost. They helped me book a last minute tour, recommended restaurants, easily arranged taxis for me, and even offered custom breakfast options if their fresh and delicious Sicilian breakfast is not what you're in the mood for.
