We recently stayed 5 nights at the slightly quirky but very clean '5 Balconi', situated maybe 6 kms from the airport and 10 minutes leisurely walk into the central historical parts of town. The owners, Christina and Rob were very friendly and so helpful every time we needed help or local advice. Their knowledge of local cuisine and "Guide to...

They are literally the perfect balance between being attentive and at your service without being overbearing! The area of which the B&B is situated is central and geniually Sicilien, which...

I loved my stay at this B&B. The space has a great feel-kind of a mix of victorian/ mediterranean with just the right combination of rustic Italian and comfort. The location is good-about a 5 minute walk to the fish market. The other guests that came and went during my 4 day stay were always friendly and interesting. The couple...

The quirky bed and breakfast is located in the centre of historic Catania. Welcomed by a freshly squeezed juice and a lot of tips/information on what to see, where to go, what to eat. Rob and Christina make you very welcome and you feel like home! They could not do enough for you, they even sorted our taxi to the...

We sent a wonderful week at 5 Balcony at the beginning of February, at the time of the St Agata festival . The B&B is wonderful, quirky and very authentic. It’s very close to the city centre, the fish market and the castle as well as local restaurants. We were initially in one of the front bedrooms, and were able...

All what was stated about the hospitality is definitely true, but all rooms are facing to a very hectic road that doesn't calm down at all during the night. If you're not prepared to wear earplugs you might have a problem....
