Stayed at 5 Balconi recently for two nights and loved it. Rob and Christina are perfect hosts and nothing seems too much trouble for them. Their local knowledge and enthusiasm made our stay so much more enjoyable. Breakfast was fresh, andprepared for you individually. First time I have stayed at a B&B and the hostess thought that one of the...

There can't be many places in Catania that are as beautiful, friendly and central as this. Rob and Cristina were amazing hosts, so welcoming and with such great recommendations for us that really helped us to see the best of the city. The rooms are decorated so beautifully - you feel as if you're staying in someone's home. It was...

5 Balconi is a lovely B&B and our room was really nicely decorated. Rob and Christina were excellent hosts, nothing was too much trouble. I particularly liked the excellent breakfast options. The location is ideal for getting to the main sites in the old town, such as the castle, catherdral and fish market. The local restaurants we went to were...

I stayed here for 4 nights in June. It is very clean, lovely decorated. Christina and Rob are extremely helpful and I could not imagine to travel around without their help! (The public transportation is quite confusing). It's about 10 min's walk to the main square and few blocks away from high street. Highly recommended!

This B&B was very comfortable and I rented the two connecting rooms for our family of four. The relaxed environment and locality meant we could visit the nearby restaurants, Norman castle and shop without having to rush out the door, we only had to walk down the road. Sicily is good value and so is this B&B run by Christina's...

5 Balconi is a lovely, small and good value B&B. Rob & Cristina are super friendly and helpful and really make you feel at home. Rob helped me arrange a trip to Etna, and Cristina recommended some places to visit and yummy places to eat. The rooms are nice, the breakfasts good, and it's an easy location for walking into town....

Fantastic location - a stone's throw away from the castle and the cathedral and surrounded by lovely places to eat and drink. But the real delight of this charming b&b is the lavishly restored interior. The photos on this site look good and that's why we booked it but for once the decor and rooms are actually much nicer than...
