It´s perfect for couples. It´s uniquely designed, one that you´ll never forget, located right in the middle of all the action, a short walk away from all the famous points of interest in Palermo, and it´s run by sweet, friendly people. It´s probably the most convenient place to stay in in the city. I love that it´s just behind the...

This is a marvelous place in order to enjoy the atmosphere of Palermo, the City of the Aghlabids and the Kalbids, the great Islamic dynasties which rimediata Sicily in the Middle Age. Weekend loved it and we think that you will love it too...

First of all, there was no signs anywhere so we wasted about 30 minutes just to find this place, and after we found it, my husband had to phone the hotel because the door was locked. He told him that we were downstairs, asked if he could open the door for us but the guy's response was,"I'll text you", then...

We stayed in the Sultan's suite and it was kitchy fun! We dressed up in arabic costumes (made by the Sultan himself) and took funny pictures, enjoyed the XXL jacuzzi tub and it was great migling with the other guests at the kooky breakfast table. The b& is smack in the middle of a market street, like being in a...

Most of the places I've stayed in Italy have had a certain charm and Gran Sultanato is no exception, the location is convenient if traveling by foot as there is no place available to park really. The rooms were immaculately decorated and the entire place holds a certain charm, but there were a few drawbacks. While we had a decent...

I'm really in two minds about this place. In the plus column: the people are very nice, helpful, welcoming, and friendly. The rooms are quirky, completely unique, and a million miles away from the bog-standard, soulless chains you find everywhere you go. Our room had records on the wall, an old fridge in one corner, and a round bed. Things...

At Abali we stayed for 5 days (4 nights). B&B is situated in the middle of the Arabian quarter, here in the street you find a colorful market. While you can see easily the street name and number of the house there was no indication of the B&B on the Bell and no indication on the floor. Good that the...

My sister and i stayed at the Abali Gran Sultanato when we stopped in Palermo. The staff could not have been nicer! They were so helpful with finding our way around Palermo. They even let my sister borrow their personal hair dryer. It was clear that the staff did everything to make their guests feel welcome and at home. Our...
