Good choice for one night in Palermo, close to the central station. The room was clean and the host was very helpful and kind. Had some trouble sleeping, bought some ear plugs because the walls are not soundproof and could hear anything from the next room and from the street, with the windows closed.

I spent my birthday weekend in the gorgeous Deluxe Junior suite! Communication prior and during the stay was amazing, Davide and Francesco were great hosts! This is not a hotel or B&B in a traditional sense, most things are managed remotely and hosts give you a lot of privacy! The room was excellent, free bottle of Prosecco upon arrival! My favourite thing was the bed! SUPER COMFY! The shower and hot tub were incredible, especially after a long day of exploring the city! Be mindful of the water levels and side pumps, if over-flowing, the water will spill onto the floor and set off the flood alarm system!!! Lesson learned lol. Breakfast was average but worth it for the price of the suite! The area is so close to the main train station, all attractions are within 15min walk, the area might be questionable for some but I liked the vibe - filled with working-class locals :) I even received a gift as I checked out! Overall, I highly recommend this accommodation!

We approached this accommodation with some trepidation. The reviews were so great, and the photos beautiful, but why not higher priced? I wish we had been better prepared before we arrived. This is *not* a hotel, not even an inn, not even a B&B. It is an apartment, like an AirBNB. This is a great place to stay if you are on a budget, maybe a student, and you normally don't find nice accommodations for the money. The way Davide runs the transactions (everything by cell phone) is also more geared toward young people that more sophisticated travelers who may not want to share their private information. The neighborhood appears to be a little off-putting, especially as you approach and enter the building. It's about a 20 min. walk to get the heart of town, and a cab ride to some parts you may want to visit (and you may not want to walk back at night). In retrospect, I probably would have found a more traditional and upscale hotel in a better part of town more to my comfort, but again, these are very nice (modern and clean and pretty) suites for the money. It's all about managing expectations.

Booked property for location and photos. Cab driver was sure I got the address wrong because I was coming from a very nice upscale palazzo. No inviting restaurants nearby. I wanted to eat at the Trattoria Trapani, but it is closed on Sunday. Ate before I got to the property -- must pre-arrange with manager for late arrival, so I ate near Via Vittoria Emanuele before my arrival. Lobby was clean and elevator worked well. The room lived up to the photos. Once in my room I completely forgot I was in a property that I had booked to be near the train. In the morning, it was a very short walk on the side street to get to my pre-dawn train.

We stayed in one of the suites, it was stunning. Absolutely huge, two bathrooms, massive bed, great shower. The decor was incredible. Davide and the team are very welcoming and incredibly helpful. A real bonus is having breakfast in your room. The area is a little ordinary but it is a short walk from the centre of Palermo and close to bus services and the train station. The air con is godsend, the windows really help with the noise (it isn't noisy but being close to the bus station and just the general love for car horns in Sicily there is noise outside but usually from about 9am and the nights are very quiet) and the shutters make sleep a definite. I would highly recommend this B&B.

Switched for this bed and breakfast during my short stay in Palermo due to it´s location. There is a direct train service from the airport to Stazione Centrale and the Normanno is in walking distance. Easy to reach, also when the surroundings are not really welcoming. Ok it´s a train station area. The building is old close to a larger road. Stairs up, the room is spacious and trendy modern, also the bathroom. No noise from the road and also from the other rooms. Slept well and you find several restaurants around the Stazione. No breakfast due to an early departure, back by train what works well. Might be also good to stay longer here and the communication with Davide was really nice.

New, Trendy B&B appartement of high standard located in the old arab quarter. Next to the metro and train-station. Free parking outside. Within walking distance to attractions, harbour with outdoor training, and the shopping district. We stayed in the suite superior Balarm, beautifully decorated with ancient tiles, trendy furniture and local art hung on the walls by lokal great artists Pucci Scafadi and Fransesco Ferla. Huge thanks to Davide and Fransesco for their great service, well prepared fresh Sicilian breakfast and for the best suggestions in where to go and what to see. Our best recommandations and we will definetly return next visit to Palermo.

When we arrived there had been a breakdown in communication and although everything had been sorted with Andrea her colleague Davide did not know. He was in a terrible hurry and frankly not welcoming. I now know why. He had a family issue (we all have from time to time) but he didn’t explain. Later he did and apologised by sending us a lovely colazione. This place is lovely. It is a wee bit out of town but the cool places are quite nearby. Definitely go to Trapannia for dinner. It is what you want from a local family place. Rooms are really clean and shower is amazing. Don’t hesitate.

A beautifully appointed apartment located on the third floor of an old building close to the central station, bus depot including direct line to the airport and tram service. Well within walking distance of all the sights. The apartment is large and very tastefully decorated with some lovely photographic work by a local photographer. Davide the manager was extremely helpful and delivered a lovely breakfast trolley every morning of our stay. Would highly recommend this establishment as a place to stay in Palermo.

We stayed here for a three night weekend break in early May and can't fault it. The check in was easy despite the late flight time and the service throughout our stay was impeccable. The decor is modern and stylish. We were made to feel very welcome by Davide, Francesco and the team, and the small gift on check out was a lovely touch. We will definitely be back for another visit. Thank You!!
