Perfect place to stay. I came here for a work trip and found it via hotels.com. Turned out the location was central and in a very safe area with access to food, bars, sights, whatever you would like, by foot. The room was clean, air-conditioned and the bed very comfortable. Best was the charm and helpfulness of the owner Francesca, up early making delicious food. I highly recommend it.

We have just stayed here for a week and found it to be a great location for access to the many bars and restaurants in central palermo. The owner was friendly and our room was clean and we'll equipped. Breakfast was satisfactory and we would stay here again.

Room Tip: Our room over looked the Main Street which was quite noisy at night, this didn't bother us...

I have stayed at B&B Florio in Palermo many times for business and pleasure. I have been living and working in Italy for 5 years, and from my extensive travel experience, in North and South Italy, B&B Florio is one of my favorites. Why? Good people...warm and welcoming, great central location, easy to get to and within walking distance of central Palermo, and comfortable homely rooms and delicious breakfast :-) Highly recommended :-)

We stayed at B&B Florio for a long weekend and we couldn't fault the place at all. The room was a really good size, so clean and comfortable with a nice en-suite. The location is really central to the new part of Palermo, but only a short walk to the Old Town so perfect for the sights but also the markets, restaurants and nightlife, but still a slightly quieter street so no noise problems for sleeping! Francesca was a lovely host, very attentive, friendly and gave us some local recommendations for food and ways to get around so it was really helpful! Also breakfast provided was always fresh and a good selection of traditional Sicilian breakfast foods. It was great value and we wouldn't hesitate to go back there again the next time we're in Palermo.

On the spur of the moment we decided to stay one night in Palermo. Knew we wanted to stay close to bus stops and Politiama area. Four blocks away we found this jewel. Ee srrived at 6pm and Catherine let us in, gave us a good place to eat and off she went. Perfect evening for the local Saturday night celebrations. Lots of people having fun and everything was open. This B&B is so clean and comfortable and a wonderful breakfast. Worth every euro, a fair price with a regular sized shower, too.

B&B Florio is a sweet place and well located in central Palermo, walking distance from everything, including the port. On the plus side are the nicely decorated rooms and the huge bathroom in my room. On the minus side, breakfast could be better (eg. the jams could be homemade), though I personally greatly appreciated the fresh lotus fruit!

We stayed at Florio for a long weekend and it proved to be an excellent choice. We were delayed arriving due to a storm at the airport resulting in being diverted to Trapani. This was no problem and the owner rearranged to be there when we eventually arrived around 3 hours later than planned. The B&B is in the modern part of the city but very well placed for walking to the historical centre. This suited us and our room was very comfortable with a good ensuite bathroom. The breakfasts were excellent with different breads/pastries each day. It was all freshly prepared. We were given tips on how to eat the ricotta in a local style (with sugar & honey). Plenty of bars nearby ( coffee, pastries, connoli, gelato savouries etc). Recommendations for eating were good. We especially enjoyed La Tenda Rossa and a fish restaurant near the port. Wifi included was a useful bonus. It's also less than 5 minutes walk from Teatro Politamo where the airport bus drops off and picks up. (Tip: make sure you prebook your return bus to airport at the tabacchi as ours was full and some people couldn't get on) Would stay there again if in Palermo which is well worth a long weekend

B&B Florio is really in the heart of Palermo: café’s, shops, theatres, bars, the port are all in walking distance. The beautiful beach of Mondello can be reached easily with public transport. The rooms we stayed in are stylish, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, warm cornetto and cappuccino were a perfect start for the days we spent in Palermo. The owner, Francesca is helpful and friendly, she gave us useful advices about what to do, see, eat in the city. We can't wait to come back!

We stayed here one night in a pinch when we were in need of one night's accommodation in Palermo after changing our plans last minute. The owner, Francesca, is wonderful! She was so helpful and really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The B&B itself was quaint, clean, and well kept. The rooms were well stocked, A/C controls in each room (the last hotel we were at said temp control in each room which was far from the truth!) so this was a very big deal to us! The location is perfect! Walking distance to Politeamo Square yet it's on a quiet street so the noise of the Square doesn't keep you awake with all the cars and people at night. The location is also walking distance to shops, restaurants, and buses. Great B&B! Wish we had spent our entire stay here and not just one night!!!
