Great experience , boutique hotel great, clean, fancy, breakfast wow, and the staff was very friendly ! The sicilian vibes was embracing the guests from the first moment you enter in this great place, with modern facilities perfectly combined with the history of the spot.

Came here for our 20th anniversary. Very beautiful in a good location. Well appointed, comfortable room with excellent staff. delicious and decadent breakfast! Antonella was wonderful, friendly, and very helpful with parking and restaurant bookings. Disliked · We were in the Poet room, which is right next to the breakfast area. We could hear the scraping of the dining chairs on the floor, waking us up early. Perhaps a large rug under the table and chairs would help muffle the noise. The shower needs a shelf for toiletries or perhaps mounted pump bottles for less waste. Also, the shower floor does not have a raised edge to prevent water from spilling out and flooding, and the shower door does not close all the way. The next two nights, we took short “camp” showers: simply use enough water to get wet, turn the water off, soap up, and turn the water back on to rinse. I had the handheld shower in one hand and held the door closed with the other. Not very relaxing and not ideal while on holiday. The shower and breakfast noise were the only problems. Everything else was great! I would definitely stay here again in the future, but in a different room with a bathtub and away from the breakfast room.

Response from Rosa di stefano, Proprietario at Palazzo Del Poeta
Responded 3 weeks ago
Thank you so much for these nice words and I'm happy that your stay at "Palazzo del Poeta" was such a good memory that you want to come back for a next trip. At the same time, to be clear and respond publicly to this "complaint" of yours, it seems correct to clarify that we are moving the breakfast room to the lower floor, to avoid even those small noises that may occur from some customers, and that the problem of water was linked to a problem of municipal works in the water network in the area, which obviously were resolved in a couple of days. Unfortunately this maintenance carried out by the public administration coincides with your stay. And I'm so sorry. So both of the inconveniences you described have already been largely resolved. Anyway, thanks again and it was nice to meet you.

Perfect location in the old city center. Charming, peaceful small renovated hotel in a 17th century palace with warm, knowledgeable, and friendly staff (thank you, Georgia!) perfect Sicilian breakfasts (think the best pastries ever) as well as savory treats and fruit. Our suite was well designed, with thoughtful features including a kitchenette, small table for eating, and great lighting throughout — and a very comfortable bed. They helped arrange taxi pick up from the airport for us which I would recommend at no charge and at the regular fixed airport price. This is an extremely well run, unique place to stay. We loved it!

Beautiful B&B. Stayed 2 nights to visit Palermo with my teen kids. The rooms where very cozy and confortable. Breakfast was included and very good. The location was just a little bit outside the touristy zone, which for me was even better. You could walk everywhere.

The hotel is hidden on a small side street. Google maps sends you to the wrong place and there's no signs outside due to construction on the street. As a result we took a while to find it. But as soon as the unmarked external brown door opens up, you transfer from the small alley into a beautiful, modern gem of a hotel. Only 3 guest rooms with an intimate dining area filled all day with pastries and coffee, as well as a nice supply of complementary alcohol, are alone a good selling point. But on top of that, the rooms are spacious and lovely and the breakfast was delicious. And Rosa the owner is such a lovely person and her staff are so friendly and helpful that they all round it out to an amazing stay, They really know how to take care of you and make you feel at home to the point you don't want to leave. So there's really nothing negative to say. Just be aware that this is not a traditional hotel - there's no concierge or front desk - all the staff are at the sister property around the corner (which is inter-connected). But when you need someone or something you contact them and they immediately appear so this was never an issue and we even grew to like the privacy, feeling like it was our own private little place. We can't wait to come back here, one day...

Stayed here during summer and the Palazzo was excellent. Close to everything but yet on a very quiet street. Our room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was amazing. The AC worked very well during extremely hot days. Davide and Rosa were very attentive and responsive to make sure we had a pleasant stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Entering the premises from the narrow streets of Palermo you find yourself in a different world. The decoration is impressive down to the small detail, the rooms are spacious, breakfast superb and the host, a real host. It is also walking distance to Palermo's city center. I will go back to Palermo just to stay at this hotel again.

Very well hidden in the historic centre of Palermo lies this beautifully restored Palazzo that offers privacy, peacefulness and a very welcoming environment. Spacious rooms with all necessary amenities, excellent breakfast with all sorts of pastries, complimentary drinks all day long. Some small issues with the cleaning service were efficiently dealt by Giorgia, who was there to help us on all occasions and nothing was too much trouble for her, she trully made our stay memorable. Do not be intimidated by the scaffolding outside, it is only temporary and I imagine that once finished will add value to this remarkable building. I should not forget to mention the excellent list of nearby restaurants that the proprietor provided us with, the ones we tried exceeded our expectations. In short, an excellent stay in Palermo, I would gladly recommend the place.
