The hotel is very well located. You can for sure just walk anywhere. It was a bit tricky to find it, as we were driving from mainland and the hotel is located right in middle of the historical centre where cars are not allowed. But the hotel receptionist arranged for someone to come, pick up the car and park it. Breakfast is well served, with options of hot and salty food (as in Italy breakfast is mostly sweet). Rooms are very comfy and air worked well in one of the rooms. We were staying in a family joint room (family of 4). The room my kids were in didn't have a bed, but a sofa roll out bed. It was not comfortable to them (2 big teens sharing). I don't understand why they didn't have a bed, as the room was huge and it could easily fit 2 queens . The room had Frescos ceilings ( ceiling hand painted decorations) all around the ceiling in both rooms. It seemed that it was restored during the renovation. I have never seem something quite like it in all the hotels rooms I have stayed around the world. It was very special. One of the reasons I booked this hotel was because it said on its description that they had laundry, but in reality they didn't. It was a paid service laundry. So we had to find somewhere to do laundry. The last thing is that I didn't find the hotel very clean. The floors inside the rooms were of dark wood and it was possible to see dirt.

Positives: The location is fantastic. Friendly staff. Breakfast was quite nice although the cakes tasted a bit old. Good Aircon. Clean. Negatives: It was very noisy and my husband didn't get a lot of sleep. Plug sockets are difficult to work out. Lighting was bad - super dark - they only used lamps to light the room which we found strange. No chairs on balcony. Would have rated better if it wasn't advertised as a four star. We did not feel that the hotel lived up to the standards of other four star hotels.

The hotel is lovely, people lovely, location beautiful. Unfortunately we booked our beautiful convertible bmw for an overnight parking. The hotel offer Valet parking… they drove away the car next morning the car arrived with a long 3 panel scratch on the side. We asked, emailed, first the hotel said it will help as we ordered the services from them. Than they refused and the parking garage stopped answering our emails. Over 1000€ fixing fees, and nobody takes responsibility. The joke is: we even paid 20€ per night for parking.😂

Dear Mr Andersson, thank you for choosing us. We are sorry to read a bad review about an external service that doesn't belongs to the hote proprety. we tried our best to put you in contact with the garage proprety and they insured that they will respect the word given to you. We didn't had any news about the inconvenience so we did't know if it has been resolved or not. We apologize once again. Best Regards

Hotel was clean and staff were helpful, and very covid aware with mask wearing and not sharing lifts etc. Breakfast slots had to be booked the day before due to Covid and table service only, but they do offer gluten free options for coeliacs. Great location where you can just walk out into the evening night life and restaurants. We did have a power cut just as we were about to get into the lift one day and were left in the pitch black having to use our phone torches to get down multiple flights of stairs and then had no hot water for two days - assuming power cut was caused by the boiler blowing a fuse or something, so ended up having to use cold water to wash my hair.

A very well located hotel in an interesting building. Friendly Reception staff. Room was OK but wifi was very sporadic, we experienced a brief power cut and had 2 nights without hot water, although we were informed that a plumber was due to come and fix the boiler.

Lovely modern clean hotel set in a fantastic location just minutes from the marina and the historical sites. One great plus is that it’s set in a pedestrianised street which comes to life with such vibrant restaurants and bars. This isn’t loud, it’s a subtle street party feel and was great to be amongst it. The staff in the hotel were all very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Due to covid the breakfast slots need to be booked for times and you make your selections from an extensive list of options. There are previous comments about the rooms being dark? This is purely down to low lighting in the rooms by lamps which shouldn’t really be criticised it’s just the decor and style. All in all a great hotel, excellent value, no complaints at all and I would certainly recommend and return

Set in the middle of the location to be. Although noisy outside inside was quiet. Clean and modern. Staff helpful and friendly and great showers. I’d stay again in a flash. Breakfast a little odd sadly as a result of Covid but hey to be able to step our to Palermo was just great. What a lovely city too. We hired e bikes and suddenly you can get about in the heat with no issue.

We stayed there in July 20. Our room was located on the street. Very very noisy. Room had a bit of charm but nothing very exceptional. People are great. Breakfast is pretty basic, nothing fancy. Do not take valet parking - not reliable at all

We were happy to visit Palermo shortly after Sicily reopened for internal travel and booked two rooms for nights at the Palazzo Sitano Hotel. We made the reservation through Booking.com and, evidently when we changed dates, the hotel was not notified. Conclusion: we were greeted like unwelcomed aggressors by the hostess manager who, when we entered, directed us to sanitize our hands remember our masks and then questioned us about who we were and what we were doing there. This, mind you, in a hotel operating at 5% capacity. When she discovered that we had a reservation for two days afterward, her aggressive attitude did not change as she insisted our room was not ready. We were there on the wrong date. I asked jokingly whether all the rooms were occupied, knowing that tourism in Sicily has been hurt terribly by the lockdown caused by the coronavirus. Of course there were rooms available; of course she should have been delighted to see us and sell us two rooms for two nights, but she has been so terrorized by the specter of government fines if she did not comply with sanitary Standards set by the government that she ends up attacking rather than welcoming guests to the hotel. The silver lining were the two young men who work under her direction, Piero and Alessandro. They were sweet, kind, professional, and attentive beyond measure and will surely go to a special place in hospitality heaven for having to work with such a rigorously inhospitable manager in the “hospitality industry“.
