We had a comfortable stay at this hotel. The best feature was the great location right in the centre of the old town. It is ideal for anyone who like me, likes to get to know a city by walking it. It was less than 1 min walk to Quattri Centro and 2 min to the lovely Piazza Bellini, Santa Caterina and Martorana churches & the wonderfully named, Fountain of Shame. It was just 5 min to the Vucciria market and 10 min to Teatro Massimo and Capo markets. This meant that we could easily explore the city by foot.

The entry and lobby are quite grand. It was originally an 18th century palazzo and it retains some of that charm and a sense of faded old-world elegance. The hotel itself is of a palatial size and is a bit of a maze. Although I got lost every single morning on the way to the breakfast room and occasionally got lost in corridors going to my own room, I liked that the long, winding halls and hidden corners were styled with antique furniture, vases, artwork and ornamentation.

Front desk service was consistently friendly and welcoming.

Our room was clean but a little dated and a bit dark, without much natural light. The bathroom was a reasonable size and certainly big enough for two people. The shower was a bath/shower combination and there was a generous supply of shampoo, conditioner and other toiletries. Importantly, the room was quiet at night which, given its central location, was a big plus. All in all, it was an excellent room for the price range.

The buffet breakfast was particularly good and included yoghurts, juices, fruit, cold meats and cheeses, a selection of hot food and a large range of pastries (cannoli, cakes and chocolate croissants). The breakfast room itself was an attractive space with high ceilings, white tablecloths and antique dressers.

Overall, the hotel was good value and in an excellent central location. I would stay there again.

There are many factors that I keep staying at this hotel since 2016.
1) The location in the historic district of Palermo. Within a very short walking distance are the Palermo Cathedral, the Norman Palace, the Fountain of Shame, the Ballaro Market, the Vucchiara (sic) Market, the Capo Market and the Massimo Theatre, Just to name a few.
2) The restaurants within close proximity are wide and varied. I have left other reviews on them.
3) The hotel itself - a former Palace residence of the Tarallo family. The rooms are spacious and up to date (I usually reserve a Superior room) with a balcony and walk in shower and sometimes a bathtub. The water pressure is excellent as well as the products provided.
4) The included breakfast on the second floor - JUST GRAND! I had read the reviews of limited breakfast due to the Covid Pandemic but the offerings were the same as I have always experience. Eggs, Bacon, Mini Hot Dogs, Arancini, Deli Meat & Cheese selections, Fruit, Yogurt, Pastries, Breads, Biscotti, a Variety of Coffees, Juices etc.
5) The staff from the front desk, housekeeping and the breakfast staff. All very friendly and accommodating to every need.
I would never stay at another hotel in Palermo again.
Thank you Mr. Romeo, Veronica and the rest of the staff for another relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Very centrally located hotel. OK size of the room and very nice terrace. Nice bathroom. Cleaning was good. A bit outdated decor, for example the floor which was quite worn. Very good that the breakfast items were individually packed to minimize the risk for spreading infections. Great staff in the breakfast room and fantastic views!

Main drawback is the old fashioned key system with a regular, bulky key that needed to be handed in to the reception. The staff performed no ID check at all before they handed us the key, which felt very unsecure as anyone could have gain access.

I decided to book 3 nights in Palermo at the end of July. As the current Italian situation due to COVID is not the best, I even went directly to the hotel website in order to support local hospitality and save them the corresponding Booking.com or similar fees.

They announced in their web (and various travel webs) several times what an amazing breakfast they had, so I included such breakfast for the 3 day accommodation paying an additional amount per day.

I arrived and the room was not clean. I let them know and they cleaned it, but not properly. It was late night so I directly went to bed. Next morning in the hotel I go to try finally "one of the best breakfasts in town", and I realized they have substituted it for a plastic bag with a vending machine-sandwich, a small bottled juice and 2 processed bake goods.

I explained them that in their website (and also Booking.com etc.) they kept announcing their breakfast as something amazing, and that they should let us know if they had cancelled the usual breakfast due to COVID, as they did with the gym, sauna, or other facilities/activities), and not to encourage customers to pay the additional daily higher rate in order to get specifically the mentioned plastic bag as a breakfast.

They told me it was a weekend and the manager would contact me Monday morning, in order to perhaps reimburse me for such additional breakfast expense (with no actual ), or some kind of compensation or at least explanation. Well, I am still waiting for that call.

Additionally, they were minor problems like not hot water the first day, forget to put toilet paper the second, no personnel in reception 3 times when I returned to the hotel (and needed my key for the room), etc. All of this was also highlighted and as mentioned I am still waiting for the call.

For our anniversary we went to this romantic hotel. It is really incredible and the staff here is really good. Reception helped us a lot with destinations and info about where to go and things to do. The room where we are is really romantic, really big, spacious and nice. It has everything that someone needs, we are really happy with this room, 111, which has a great view of the city centre and street. It is soundproof so you don’t hear the noises from the street but if you open the balcony you have a great view. The bed is really comfortable and big and it is a special place to stay. I would highly recommend every one to come and visit this romantic beautiful hotel that is so incredible. For breakfast I would not recommend to have it every day if you are staying for long in the hotel because you will have the same breakfast every day, there is nothing different or special but it is worth staying in this hotel. It also has a smoking area, a beautiful terrace and a beautiful view of the city. It is in the heart of the city centre so you’ve got lots of attractions, lots of restaurants, pubs bars and lots of stuff to do so I would highly recommend this hotel if you’re a couple or single or a family. Best place you could stay in Palermo.

Stayed 3 nights in a superior room (328) and asked for a balcony upon checkin which we were kindly given. The interior of room is a bit old but clean and good quality. Beds are good and AC works fine. The balcony was facing towards the courtyard But was huge and had a good sun location. We really appreciated getting This request fulfilled. Hotel has a great location at a walking street close to most things. Breakfast is very good with very nice and hard working staff. Breakfast also very covid safe with as little contact as possible by guest as items are put in plastic boxes. Lobby staff also friendly and attentive. Roof top terrace for breakfast has a unbeatable view over Palermo! Enjoy this hotel at your next stay of you like good value for money and a bit bigger hotel.

Arriving from the ferry early we walked up to the hotel and were happily surprised to find our room ready. Very friendly welcome and our room was lovely, we had a little terrace to sit in the winter sun with a glass of wine. Large comfortable bed, with lots of windows etc to the view (not much of one but pleasant enough).
Breakfast is great, self service tea/coffee but there is loads to have and a great selection. The breakfast room is lovely setting to enjoy the morning. There is a panoramic restaurant on the top where you can also just enjoy a drink, which is reasonable value.
Location is perfect to walk around the beautiful city - highly recommended.

We stayed at this hotel in early June 2024. The rooms are in awful condition. They need to really update their furniture and just clean their rooms/paint them, etc. The bathrooms were filthy too. This is not a 4 star hotel with any stretch of imagination as they advertise themselves to be. We were not happy with the room we were given and we had to leave the hotel within a day. We moved to the Rocco Forte hotel in Verdura -- which was absolutely amazing. Eurostar Centrale has the location working for them but it really seems like these guys have been through years of not investing in the hotel. I would suggest people to stay away and avoid this one if you are looking at accommodation you look forward to returning to. On top of all this the hotel decided to not refund us for the two nights we never stayed there even though Expedia requested the refund on our behalf. Terrible experience overall and I wish I had never booked this to begin with.

The hotel is charming and well worth its cost. The room was comfortable and quiet. We were amazed that the windows and shutters completely blocked the noise from the lively street below. The bathroom shower is a bit small, but the bath towels large and fluffy.
The staff were friendly. I highly recommend having a cocktail at the terrace bar on the 4th floor. It was a relaxing way to end a d light full day in Palermo.
I have it 4 stars because it is definitely not a five star hotel, but we loved the hotels old world charm and would recommend it to friends and family wanting to emerge themselves in the city.

I visited Palermo in October 2022 and stayed at Eurostars Centrale Palace only after the original hotel I picked was closed due to last minute construction. The only reason to stay at this hotel is that it's in a great location with decent breakfast options. Aside from that, I would not recommend it at all. The hotel staff is polite but unfriendly and unhelpful, the rooms are dark and old, and it's incredibly noisy. You will hear loud noises outside your room after 7:00a in the morning so don't plan to sleep in ever. There was also a musty/moldy smell in my bathroom that wouldn't go away. I complained to the front desk about this and they denied these items. The hotel also uses old fashioned heavy keys that you need to turn in to the front desk each time you go in/out. I requested the heavy keychain be removed so I didn't need to go through this unnecessary step every time I came in/out. The hotel staff was not helpful at recommending local attractions or day trips. Also upon checkout, they added a daily tax that was not disclosed upon booking (like all other hotels do). I didn't have time to debate that as I needed to leave for my flight. Overall, I just used this as a home base and tried to be out of the hotel as much as I could.

No pool. But a shuttle to a "private" beach for a fee. I put private in quotes because it would not be considered so by American standards. A more apt description may be privately owned beach with towel and chaise chair service and a bar.
