This hotel is located in the heart of Palermo, just 2 minutes walk from the central station. It offers nice breakfast served in the room (you choose the day before what you want to eat). The owner was very nice and helpful, when we asked where to buy the olive oli she offered the one she buys from the village... More

The hotel is very easy to find and is safe and clean. Free wifi was amazingly fast and accessible from room. For the price I paid I was happy for what I got in return. I felt safe sleeping here 2 nights traveling as a single woman. The mother didn't speak English but I understand she wants me to leave... More

If you are looking for a good value that's nothing fancy, this could be the place. The Good points: - portible heater is great to have in winter - breakfast is delivered to your room - very secure hotel, noone can get in who isn't staying there - there is now an English speaking person at reception - great location... I like nothing better than a clean room, crisp white sheets and towels and a clean bathroom! Hotel Italia offers this and a very friendly welcome as you check in to the fading grandeur of one of Palermo's many 19th century buildings. In a shabby chic city (more shabby than chic) a really clean room is welcome at the end... More

This hotel offers a great location and good value for money. Yes, perhaps the rooms and the bathrooms are not as magnificent as you'd get at a Radisson - but that's not the point. It's functional, clean, cheap - what else do you want for a night in Palermo? Two hints: the lady at reception doesn't speak English, and there's... More

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and were very pleased with the hotel. The location is fantastic, only 200m from the train station and within walking distance of all the sights. The building is very old and has great character. Hotels in Italy generally offer very poor wifi and it often only works in the lobby, but here... More

The hotel is great value for the money! It is quite basic but clean and situated in a great location, in walking distance from the central station and the city center. We've only stayed for one night and it was perfect for our needs. Service is great. The owner is a very nice and helpful person, with an interesting personality.... More

Hotel Italia is family run and you'll find friendly people always smiling and willing to help. We were there for the gay pride parade and we recommend this place also as a LGBT... More
