Located in the heart of downtown Palermo on a pedestrian Belmonte street with restaurants and cafes, only a handful of comfortable rooms with full amenities and large private terraces, Francesco made us feel just like at home and went out of his way to recommend typical restaurants and sightseeing itineraries. We left only this morning back to Switzerland and already...

stayed for four nights at La Bella Vita with two girl friends. We shared a three bed room made up of one double bed and one sofa bed, both of which were very comfortable. The owner Francesco could not have done more for us during our stay; he was friendly, laid back and efficient. The room was clean with plenty...

Like everyone else we were very pleased to stay here. Good location for airport bus etc. Clean comfortable room and large bathroom. Wonderfully considerate and generous host. Don't expect a large hotel style buffet for breakfast but it's plenty - try the fruit salad. The one non-terrace room is good value but smallish.

In a busy, busy city, B&B La Bella Vita is a quiet little escape. You are greeted by Francesco, one of the friendliest and most attentive people we encountered in two weeks in Italy, who makes you feel at home. Indeed, the B&B, located on the 7th floor of a building on a pedestrian-only street, feels very much like home....

We stayed for two nights and found the room very comfortable, particularly the bed, and the bathroom very modern although the shower was difficult to adjust to the right temperature. The room had a large balcony which would have been brilliant for breakfast had the weather been better. The owners were really friendly and helpful on things to do and...

Arrived very early in the morning which was no problem for Francesco, we left our cases and headed out for a coffee and cornetto while our room was prepared. Room was perfect, very large and a beautiful balcony where you could see the sea and the mountains. The b&b was very central also (only a 20min walk from the ferry),...

We only stayed one day in Palermo and this was a nice refuge at the end of a very busy day. Well stocked mini-fridge, cool decor, good shower, nice balcony. Only suggested improvement might be better lighting next to the bed.

Francesco was a wonderfully friendly host who spoke good English and parked our car for us. The location was great and the room and balcony were very comfortable. I must admit if I visit Palermo again I will not get a car as it is not required, but that has nothing to do with this accommodation...just an extra hint for...
