First of all superclean! The staff are nice and helpful everywhere. Breakfast is various, and they have a gluten free area as well with plenty of choice. Central situated, all a traveller needs. The only thing is that noisy outside as central hotel, but its Italy, so expected :)

While it's not luxury accommodation, I found it to be functional and very clean with comfortable beds. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. And I don't think the location could be any better as it's within walking distance to everything. Buffet breakfast (included in room price) was better than expected with hot options. Three practical thoughts below, should you stay here: 1) Airport bus from PMO - Prestia e Comande - is 6 euros one way and runs frequently. Get off at Politeama and walk to the hotel in less than five minutes. 2) Two close grocery stores. The little MAX, three blocks south on via Francesco Bentivenga and the large FAMILA (open 24 hours) a few blocks north on via della Liberta. 3) You like pizza? Lucky you, because there's a branch of BIGA (rated best pizza in town) around the south corner from the Politeama. They offer specials of one slice plus an aperitivo (usually Aperol spritz) for 7 euros but they also do take-away and their staff are friendly and speak Engish. …

Excellent location: public transport, taxis, short walk from Airport shuttle bus stop. Safe and quiet, spacious comfortable reception/meeting place area. Friendly staff but rather disorganised in the restaurant. Breakfast fine. Dinner verified from fair to poor, the New Years Eve meal was of a higher standard in quality and service, better than I expected. Generally I would not recommend the evening meals there are so many restaurants to choose from in the area. My room 207 (double bed) was comfortable but the over all decoration and furniture are worn they need updating. There are no mattress covers my friend (her room was 208 very small with only a single bed and rather lumpy mattress) and I asked for them they do not have them which is very bad economy cut, house keeping placed 2 under sheets on our beds. The water pressure in the bathroom was very good, shower no bath. Small fridge in the bedroom with 2 bottles of water provided. Wall mounted hairdryer, facial tissues, shower cap, beaker, feminine wash, liquid hand and shower wash provided, however, no shampoo, conditioner or body/hand lotion this hotel is classified as 4 star I would expect these accessories and certainly in any level hotel mattress covers are essential. Would I recommend this hotel, well for a short break (as long as you take into account the negatives) I would certainly not bother with the evening meals as there is so much choice available elsewhere in the area. Wifi works well and as others have mentioned well situated a short walk to the sea front and the historic area. The owners should make more of the hotel to live up to 4 star or else down grade to 3 star which is really where it really is at present.…

An ibis hotel is going to be functional. It was what we expected in a busy city centre. Parking is a couple of hundred metres away in a steep basement car park where you leave your keys. Breakfast was adequate but if you get there after 0830 much will have gone and it's not replenished. You just get the leftovers. Room was ok. Quite small with a huge TV and Aircon that worked. I would say a good 2 star or 3 star but 4 star is grade inflation.

Really central location a short walk from the city centre. My room was spacious and comfortable with good air con and decent wifi. The kettle and selection of teas was a welcome extra and I enjoyed the breakfast.

Hotel is just a block from the seafront in one direction and, in the other direction, a little further from the main shopping street which has the opera house and one end and the theatre at the other end. Loads of eating places all around here, mainly on side streets but also in the main square nearby. Hotel is modern, clean and functional. Reception staff are lovely and helpful. Street is quite busy but not a problem. Ibis Styles is a budget brand but it really didn't feel like that.

A clean and smart recently renovated hotel in central location. Slightly noisy but to be expected due to city location (higher rooms have less noise) The reception staff could be a little more friendly as were not happy explaining the WiFi code. WiFi worked well throughout the hotel and in the small patio outside. Nice tea and coffee selection in the rooms and recently refurbished bathroom (9th floor room) were very smart and good power shower (though water takes time to come through hot). Breakfast was rather basic and bad layout, especially considering Covid restrictions, causing large queues around the coffee machines (and coffee was not very good) and he cold meats and cheeses. Tables were not cleared quickly and I had to stack up previous diners dishes to make space for our group…

The receptionist was friendly and the check-in went quick. The room was comfortable and clean. The shower could have a little more space. The breakfast buffet had all I need. The invoice was prepared at check-out. I will book this hotel again when I return to Palermo.

Stayed two nights. Centrally located. No soundproofing - noise from the hallway and the street. Decent size room with comfortable bed and pillows. Sufficient number of conveniently located power jacks. Bathroom with very tiny shower cabin. Good water pressure, but the handheld shower head was pointing at the wall and couldn't be adjusted because the swivel was too loose. Good wifi. Breakfast with good selection. The staff was a mixed bag. Some were very nice and helpful, but others were neither knowledgeable nor straightforward. Specifically, the receptionist on duty when I checked in said that she didn't know what the vaccination requirements were for guests vaccinated outside of Italy (hard to believe since it has been months since Italy started requiring hotel guests to provide proof of vaccination). Also, when I asked about the best way to get to the airport in the early morning, they tried to push their own transfer service for 60 euros, denying the existence of fixed rate city taxis for 45 euros, which I had read about online. I ended up calling my own cab.…

Positive sides of the hotel are central location, large rooms and bathroom with large windows (room 403), very friendly and helpful staff. Half board with dinner (three courses) abundant and well cooked. Breakfast with a wide choice of desserts (including a delicious baked ricotta cassata) and fruit. Negatives: the shower is not walk-in but included in the bathtub (very inconvenient access, easy to wet the floor, small liquid soap dispenser, in very uncomfortable position, difficult to press, lid that can be opened easily and therefore easily polluted) . The sink liquid soap dispenser has the same problems. Floor tiles are very slippery when wet. The toilet flush hangs easily. The restaurant (where breakfast is also served) is located in the basement so it has no windows, therefore not very airy, and cannot be reached by elevator (therefore prohibited for the disabled).…
