I visited this hotel as a single female visiting friends. It's a very central hotel and great for exploring the lovely city of Palermo. Very easy check in and a great price. My room was small but had everything you needed hairdryer in room no tea and coffee but air conditioning was amazing and needed. The rooftop terrace was lovely I did not have breakfast but staff were all lovely and was a very pleasant stay and very safe.
Amazing pizza restaurant just across the road

The building is well located, near to the hystorical part of Palermo and also walking distance to the modern part. It is just off the main and busy road of via Roma but still right in the tourist area.
You can reach everything within half an hour walk or take any of the buses going through via Roma.
There are food stores within 5 minutes walk but I highly-higly recommend the restaurant (Tondo) opposite with the hotel, it's fantastic.

Hotel Joli offers typical Italian breakfast and is operated by really helpful and supportive staff. I felt cared about and could not ask anything they would not have sorted out. It's such a delight to befriend all these people within couple of days only. Grezie mille! 🙏🙂

For your rest and sleep, do bring earplugs (some music or noises can disturbing late at night) and I could have done with something against mosquitos even in April.

It is a very good spot to start exploring nice places and villages close to Palermo as there are trains leaving towards the airport and also towards Cefalú and onwards.

A traditional 19th century hotel, very conveniently located in the town, on the corner of a small park, so only a short walk to the main streets & tourist sites. Beautiful frescoes on the ceilings, a good size bedroom with traditional furnishings - our corner room had two balconies. 24 hour desk, and an adequate buffet breakfast, including barista served coffeein the traditional dining rooms.

We travelled to Palermo for a 6-night birthday trip & hotel Joli was a great base for our city break.
The location is great, not right in the hustle & bustle but easily walkable to all main areas in Palermo.
The balcony overlooking the piazza is a beautiful touch, however some chairs to sit on would have been nice.
It was nice to experience Sicily’s traditional hotel decor & despite other reviews, we were expecting the interior that we got and it was nice to have a change from the modern hotels found all over the world nowadays.
There were only a few downfalls, hence the 4 instead of 5 stars, which include having no water supplied in the room, a seriously worn mattress, which did lead to a few uncomfortable nights & lastly the shower in the bathroom is very small, however for a short city break this can be overlooked.
All in all, the hotel was perfect for what we needed & kept very clean too. We would recommend for solo and couple travellers alike

The staff of Hotel Joli were exceptional in helping me retrieve a backpack containing my passport and money which I had inadvertently left in a taxi on arrival. I am so grateful for all their help and understanding in such a stressful situation. To say they went above and beyond what could be expected is an understatement. Wonderful team.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed after being misled by the very positive reviews - The front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful but the two rooms had peeling paint, mosquitoes and very uncomfortable beds and very old bedding - the bathroom had no drain and therefore flooded from the bidet hose! The street outside overlooking the park was very noisy and smell of urine from the park was constantly present. To finish off the breakfast waiter was rude and unpleasant had no pride in his appearance or position.
This hotel was indicative of how we felt of Palermo.

I am the prime candidate to write a review of this hotel as I've been happily ensconced
for more than two months and am delighted to be here. The Joli's decor reflects Old World charm with paintings and murals and high ceilings. You realize immediately that this was once a private house.
The staff are polite, helpful, kind, ana good-humored. They appear to be constantly available.
Breakfast is actually too good and I've had to cut back on the pastries.
The location is right in the center of this amazing city and it's easy to walk anywhere from the front door. I could not be more satisfied with this lovely, romantic hotel.

Not a bad little place.
Spotlessly clean and our room was attended every day.
The staff were friendly and accommodating.
The only criticism I can think of is the breakfast. Lots of sweet pastry, cereals and yogurt but there could be more fresh fruit. That said, we were happy with our stay and would recommend it for a short break.

Fantastic location, clean and very friendly staff (including Danilo for a good expresso cup in the morning). Didn't get lucky with the bedroom in the very last floor (extremely hot, no wifi conection). Beatiful painting on ceilings.

There is a helpful all night receptionist who of course can arrange that. You would miss the good breakfast though. You might have to leave the hotel at 3.00 to check in 2 hours before the flight.
