We spent a week in Hotel Elite, which locates in the center of Palermo. The Hotel has very nice, quiet rooms, with a comfortable bathrooms. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Thank you very much! I would highly reccomend this Hotel.
Hotel Porto Azzurro is located in Saint Paul. The airport can be reached either by a local bus that takes a distance of approx. 40 minutes or 20-22 euros taxi. The hotel is very close to the bus station. The situation is less populated compared to Sliema or Saint Julien, but it is very picturesque and quiet. It can be reached very easily in the port of Gozo. It is an older hotel as a building. The room was very generous, new furniture and the bathroom also very beautiful. Daily cleaning is done. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool where you can have lunch or dinner, but also a small indoor pool, games room and gym. The staff is very kind and ready and provides all the necessary tourist information. There is also an on-site tour desk on the island. Nearby there are supply shops, restaurants. There are many local buses that connect with all the resorts and cities of the island, and transport is very well organized. The cleanliness in the hotel is very well maintained. There is also a store on the ground floor of the hotel. For tourists it is necessary to own an electric power adapter or buy it from the existing store in the hotel. Breakfast was disappointing, extremely modest and insufficient giving the feeling of poverty. We have to work on this chapter. Hotel sin. If this impediment were not even recommended without reservation.…
More like a 2-star hotel than 3-star. The hotel does not have slippers. Triple room was very, very small. No blankets for cold nights. Location is perfect. Breakfast was good. Recommended if you don't care about comfort.
When visiting here i was on a tour of Italy and this was the best hotel I stayed in. The hotel is on the 4th and 5th floor of a complex which is really no issue as many of the hotels are (although the lift is a bit old). The staff at reception were brill so helpful as soon as we arrived they gave us a map told us were the shops and markets were and what else they had to offer. The rooms were all unique each one with hand painted pictures of Italy, the hotel is old fashioned but it has character normally i would stay in something more commercial but I enjoyed this hotel. The bed was comfortable. There was an internet point in reception. The breakfast was great, simple but all the pastries were fresh and there was coffee and tea on offer. Overall the hotel is great, very cheap, great rooms, breakfast was good and the location is excellent right in the city centre and also near to the port. High recommended.…
Nice, big room, fridge, welcome drink... - it's what they promise. Little, dark, very, very basic room - it's what you wil get. Fridge or welcome drink - forget. Receptionists are nice, but speak poor English. But owner is not nice, very not nice. She refused to change my room in very impoite way (shouting during phone talk).
good, cheap and no nonsense hotel in Palermo centre. I choose cos I spotted Polish Honorary Consulate here I am Polish citizen ;-) tv, net, bed and shower - thats all I need for short city break in Palermo. Elitte ticked all boxes.
My boyfriend and me stayed 2 nights at the Hotel Elite and we found it ok. The hotel is at the 4th and 5th of a not very nice building. The elevator were very old and scary and they didnt work very well. Once we even had to take the stairs to go to the 4th floor! In general, the hotel doesn't look good from the outside. The room was nice, with tv and air conditioning. The breakfast nice and the location good. Really in the heart of the city center.
I am here for four nights. The hotel is pleasant with a lift to the fifth floor. A continental breakfast of yogurt, pastry, juice and coffee/tea is included in a pleasant seating area. Rooms are basic with some flair and spacious with small frig and cable TV. You can walk anywhere in the city within twenty minutes in any direction as most attractions are south of the hotel. If you are driving you may need a good map, but you can reserve a space in the underground garage accessed from the alley behind for about 13 euros per night. City buses are also nearby. A great choice with rooms for about 37 euros a night can't be beat!
Really good hotel if you consider the value you got for your money. The location is outstanding, just in the very center of Palermo: the most interesting part of the city is just a few minutes by walk. Don't be fooled by the entrance, the hotel lobby and the rooms are clean and beautiful, with big toilets and showers. The breakfast is "ok" for being in Italy. The receptionists are polite and nice, willing to help, chatting and laughing, offering good suggestions. CONS: The rooms have not so many wall plugs, recharging the phone or the computer was really a mess. Apart from that, awesome place for traveling on a budget.
The hotel is pretty average, but very clean and offers a good location - about a 10 min walk to Teatro Massimo. The entrance to the building of the hotel is quite scary, but hotel lobby (at the 5th floor of the building) looks much more welcoming, so don't be scared! We were in a hurry for the bus so the reception served us breakfast 30min before the usual hours - much appreciated. I'd say it's ok for budget travellers.
