We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was absolutely beautiful, immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. We were surprised by its spacious. The location was perfect, a bit noisy from the lively streets, but we didn’t have any issues with it.
The staff at the hotel were great and easy to get in touch with when no one was on the premises. A very nice breakfast was offered in a lovely sunny breakfast room with views of the opera house.

Amazing stay in a great small boutique hotel in the hart of Palermo with lovely hosts.

We only stayed in the hotel for 1 night, but everything was just perfect. It started with a very friendly and pro-active communication from Stefania guiding us before our stay to the hotel and the garage for the car. At arrival we have been very friendly welcomed by Stefania, who explained us the hotel, gave us an amazing room, also some tipps for exploring the city and booked us dinner at a nice Sicilian restaurant close by.

The room was super specious, amazingly decorated and the bed was so comfortable, may be the best we had in any hotel so far! The room, a junior suite, also has a whirl bathtub, which we did not use, but the rain shower was great and spacious.

Also in the morning the breakfast was very delicous and well prepared. We could make an order the night before (just a text to the hotel) and everything was ready on time.

Thanks to Stefania and her colleague, who also gave us lots of tipps for the sightseeing, for being so great and friendly hosts!

We can really recommend this place to everyone who looks for a stylish boutique place with not too many rooms, with private touch in an excellent location. Everything can be explored by foot from there. And also the price is more than fair!!

When our taxi dropped us off and told us the hotel is the brown door- we thought "wow- authentic Sicily" we are going to stay as locals not tourists. We told Giacomo we would arrive at 5:00 (he reached out and asked us what time we would be there) The hotel couldn't be more perfect. Location and ambiance. Right across from the theater and down the street from shopping. A few blocks from the water front were I ran.
The rooms are beautiful. I loved the sounds of the street but you can close the door to the balcony so you can see but not hear.
The shower was so refreshing and the bed/pillows were top level.
Breakfast was simple and fresh and just enough. The room you eat in is so bright with 2 windows - you can see all of Palermo.

This was our first visit to Palermo and after doing some research we decided on the Palco Rooms and Suites. It was a great decision. Upon arrival, the front of the building gives an impression of "is there a B&B here...there must be a mistake." But behind the wooden front door is a marble vestibule-like area and an elevator to take you to the second floor. Any concerns are quickly alleviated. Our room was reasonably spacious, a very clean contemporary decor, and a spacious bath. The staff & owner (both named Stefania) are very professional and take their jobs very seriously. Solid wifi, the breakfast room is very nice. The location of the B&B is perfect. Virtually a step away from the Teatro Massimo and right at the spot that separates "old-town" Palermo (as I call it) an the more chic shopping area. Bars and restaurants are footsteps away...there a literally everywhere. Overall a great place to stay, strategically located in the heart of Palermo.

A lovely modern B&B with great design personality. Very personable hosts with rooms located on two different floors of an older building adjacent to Teatro Massimo. You enter through a massive wooden door across an old lobby area where there is an elevator that takes you up a couple of levels. You then have to go either up or down a short staircase to reach your room. We were in Etoile in the Palco Noir section which was a beautiful room equipped with a large jacuzzi tub/shower and led rainbow lights in the ceiling. Very pretty. Excellent air conditioning. Extremely comfortable bed and surprisingly very quiet due to soundproof windows. We were able to open the windows for a little fresh air on occasion. The breakfast was very nice served in a lovely, bright room overlooking Teatro Massimo. Excellent housekeeping every day and the location can't be beat - a short walk to the historic district without being in the middle of it and a short walk to Politeama.

We stayed at Palco rooms and suites in the middle of the old part of Palermo for four nights and we’re absolutely delighted by the efficient friendly service we were treated like family. The breakfast was nothing short of excellent with fresh fruit daily and everything you could think of. The room was immaculately clean with fresh sheets and clean towels daily. All the sights and restaurants are in walking distance. We would definitely come back again.

This property is located just a minute away from the famous Teatro Massimo and the lively pedestrian street Via Maqueda. It could be argued that this hotel's location is unrivaled since you are walking distance from the majority of the sights, shops, and restaurants in the historic center. The room was very modern, clean, spacious and comfortable. I even had a balcony which overlooked the streets, perfect for people watching or just soaking in the Sicilian nightlife from above.

The air conditioning and internet worked perfectly, the bathroom was spotless and well appointed. Stefania who works the front desk was very communicative, helpful and nice. Palco Room and Suites definitely provided excellent service, nice amenities and easy access to Palermo's beautiful historic district at a great price. I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again if I return to Palermo.

From the ideal location (right next to the historic district but not in it) to the quality and size of the room (and a very comfortable bed) to the extremely helpful and friendly host to the perfect breakfast, this is the place to stay in Palermo. What a combination of everything one could hope for in a hotel in one of the world's great cities. This should be at the very top of anyone's choice for where to stay in Palermo. P.S. And as others have said, they have done an excellent job of soundproofing the rooms -- you get the joy of being across from the Teatro Masimo (a must see) but being able to sleep at night.

Perfectly located in the heart of Sicily. Note that it can be a little noisy due to the location but that's not the hotel's fault. Amazingly clean and great staff. Breakfast was a little small but I'm greedy! Would definitely recommend and would stay again if we're back in Sicily soon!!

Falcone Borsellino Airport or simply Palermo Airport, formerly Punta Raisi Airport is located at Punta Raisi. You can find a bus from there that will take you to the city center, they arrive on time and they are very serious. We walked on foot from the train station to Palco.
