After a week of sailing around Sicily, we stayed in Abatellis luxury B&B for the last night before early morning departure. The place was nice, very clean and with very friendly hosts. There was no breakfast though, due to Covid restrictions - this was not clear on the Bookings website when reserving the place. Also, one had to climb two flights of stairs to reach the B&B. Overall, a pleasant experience, though a bit pricey, at a little over 200 EUR per night. But it is a busy part of the summer. Also, after the Covid period, businesses like this must be hurting. We asked the reception to recommend a nice and friendly restaurant nearby for our last dinner in Palermo. We asked not to be sent to a touristy and pricey place. It was therefore a surprise to end up at Piazza Bolognia (15 EUR taxi ride each way), in a complete tourist trap, costing 260 EUR for dinner of four (with only two appetisers, four main courses and one bottle of wine, plus some water; no desert.) So beware of 5he recommendations; better chose and book your own place. …

Myself and partner stayed here for 3 nights, overall a pleasant experience. The owner was very accommodating and helpful with directions ect. We had a small apartment which was modern very clean and comfortable. The only downside was it was very noisy we could hear the people upstairs running round. But that was a small price to pay for this wonderful experience in Palermo.

As a family of four we had a good stay at Abatellis Luxuey for one night in Palermo. The rooms/suite was nice, spacious and clean. We had good service from the beginning including parking the car upon arrival and during our stay in the city. Breakfast buffet is nice and served by a smiling and very helpful young woman. Over all our warm recommendations for this place.

We really enjoyed our stay here despite the many stairs you need to walk up to get to third (I seem to remember) floor. The staff are very helpful and carry your bags up though. The ensuite room was clean and airconditioned, with tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast is had at a communal table and consists of the usual fayre plus a daily home-made cake which was a different flavour every morning. We enjoyed our morning chats with Davide, one of the two young men on the staff. The location is excellent. Turn right out of the B&B and you can walk into town or take the free shuttle bus. Turn left and you can walk to the marina and have a drink or meal in one of the places along the front.

We spent the last few nights of a two week trip around Sicily at the Abatellis Luxury B&B, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Davide was extremely helpful when we arrived, helping with our luggage (it's a 2nd floor walk-up) and helping me park our rental car nearby. The room, in a few hundred year old building, was beautifully renovated and extremely comfortable. The location is excellent, a block from the waterfront, and a few blocks walk from great restaurants, museums, parks, shopping, etc. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a great little B&B in the heart of Palermo on via Alloro which is within easy walking distance of the city centre and the stop for free bus service that runs throughout the day is just down the road. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast is generous. The only downside for some might be the 4 flights of stairs to the apartments but otherwise this is an ideal location for visiting Palermo.

we had a wonderful time at this b&b! the most friendly staff, who had the best tips for sightseeing and dining. big beds, spacious bathrooms, and perfect sicilian breakfasts. they even baked a fresh margarita cake each morning - beyond luxury!
