We stayed for 4 nights earlier this month, using the apartment as a base to explore Palermo. Our one bedroom apartment on the second floor was very spacious with lots of living space, a handy kitchen/dining room and separate bedroom with a balcony. It was light and airy. The bathroom was functional although the shower was on the small side. It contained a washing machine which came in handy as the weather was very warm! The staff at this place were friendly and helpful. Even though the apartments are not in the centre of the action there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, grocery stores etc. Shout out to the Orient Express cafe. The only negative thing I have to say is that when we first arrived the apartment smelled strongly of cigarettes, which as non-smokers was a bit off putting. Luckily it dissipated quickly.…

Deluxe apartment was spacious, comfortable and clean. It rained the morning we were supposed to check out so the staff allowed us to stay a little longer so we could wait for the weather to improve. Special thank you to Mathio at reception for his excellent service. Highly recommend this place!

It may not be in the main city center but this place was awesome. We had an apartment with a kitchen. The surrounding neighborhood is vibrant and totally filled with locals and not tourists. Everyone at the Marbela was very friendly. Our favorite thing was hitting the local shops in the evening and cooking awesome meals for our 2 little kids. The train station is literally right by and was an easy way to get to town, about 20 to 30 mins by train, don't forget to validate your ticket!. If you want to live like a local this is the place to be.

The hotel/apartments are out of the centre, but very good access via the Metro and <15 minutes to all the buses on Libertate Av. Light meals are easily catered for with 2 supermarkets close by. We used public transport for touring and walked a lot. The woman on the desk was excellent !

Great staff, room was spacious and clean. Not far from centre of Palermo with restaurants, bars and sight seeing. Also, very close the the football stadium if you're in town to catch a game. Would recommend for a a friends or family trip.

Very Good hotel. Very good service and good quality. Very Quiet. The hotel to have to go when you come to Palermo. Breakfast in a restaurant and very good. Only one word to resume: Perfecto. Parking safe and garded for your car.

We had a two-bedroom apartment with 4 beds, a kitchen, a bathroom and two balconies, one very big. It was very clean, spacious and functional. Staff extremely friendly, we asked for a late checkout snd left at noon. Secured parking in front of the hotel. Walkable distance to a supermarket, city center, shops and restaurants.

Breakfast, although not a wide selection, was great. The staff was really nice and they really work with you. When we first checked-in, staff didn't speak English, but we just used google translate and it was easy from there. In our room, the view from our balcony was beautiful. It was at a very convinient location. The place itself was just gorgeous. The only thing I didn't like was that there was weak internet connection and no hot water after the first time I showered.

Every comment received from our guests helps us to understand, what we should improve to guarantee a highly professional service. However, we are sorry to hear you did not fully enjoy your stay here. The Internet connection was not working good because of a technical damage. We have already solved the problem and now we are going to improve the strenght of the signal inside the whole residence. We want to apologize for the shower, but it was repaired, too. If you had asked the reception about the matter, someone would have come to solve it as soon as possible. Our helpful and polite staff can fluently speak English and it does not have any kind of problem in understanding foreigners. It seems to be really weird, your could not undestand each other. My friend and I stayed at Hotel Marbela Residence in September 2014 for 7 nights. This was as close as we could get to authentic Italy - fresh fish, fruits, vegetables nearby. We cooked our meals, shopped and ate like the locals. The room that we had was more like a flat, with a full kitchen, full bathroom, dining room and a wonderful patio to dine al fresco or just enjoy the view. Patrizia and the staff - from the front desk to the cleaning staff- were welcoming and very helpful. I would highly recommend a stay at Hotel Marbela Residence. The next time, we visit Palermo, we will definitely stay at Hotel Marbela Residence.
