The hotel was a 5 minute walk from the train station just on the outskirts of the old town. The beginning of the walk into the old section of town was sketchy but once we passed the first few blocks it got better. The hotel is just down the street from the port and the big gardens which are definately worth the walk through. We were given the suite which meant we had separate rooms and shared a bath with a main door to keep the rest of the guests out. It was a quiet room as we didn’t hear any stree traffic. The service was good and the room and the hotel were kept clean. There was breakfast included with all the necessities except for eggs. It kept us going until lunch though so I can’t complain. The one drawback to the room would be the bathroom. It was desperately in need of some love: the room was outdated and the shower hose leaked enough to make it feel that the pressure was low. All in all it was a nice stay.

This b&b was so quiet that you wouldn't believe you were on a busy road. It is central within walking distance of shops ,train and bus terminal ,markets and even the harbour. We'd booked Andrea, our host ,for transportation at a very reasonable price. He met us at the airport and drove us to Art Lincoln gave us a map and information on Palermo which proved most useful. Our suite was tastefully decorated typically Italian style which continued throughout the establishment and into the breakfast room . Breakfast was sufficient and we didn't need to eat until the evening. If we encountered any problems in the room then Andrea promptly was there to attend to them .He was a most charming and helpful host and we were happy to be driven back to the airport by him. If we visit Palermo in the future then we would book here again!

Still in the hotel while I write this review. That's how unhappy I am with this hotel. Aside from the packet croissants served each morning as breakfast, there's very little worth mention. Yes, that really what I think. The friendliness of 1 staff does not make up for poor Wifi, lack of working amenities (the 2 fridges provided do not work, none of the ac/ventilation system work making for stuffy days and fly infested nights, I had to clean the bathroom myself 3days into our stay, house keeping not provided today apparently it is a holiday, if only we took a holiday from paying!!, we always have to ask for loo roll and have to buy some today since they have not provided anything and left the place empty without anyone to provide services if needed, 1 TV does not work, even the job of providing cups for us to make our own tea was too troublesome, so we got 2 cups to share between 5 people.) We're practically house watching for the owners while paying for the privilege. A "friendly" check in counts for nothing. By the way, they never provided a receipt for our payment. I suppose this was just a quick holiday earner for them while they went on holiday. Either keep your B&B running and functional or close it. I asked my niece (aged 8) and nephew (aged 10) what they thought about the hotel and they said they could never recommend it. I'd be putting the same on Hotels.com which is where I booked from. Shame really as this was never our first choice but our party grew and we had to move last minute and this was one of the very few (maybe 3) left for our size. If you have a choice, do not book, not even for the packet croissants.

I'm sorry to read this review on your part, since it was our care every day to ask how it was a holiday, and you have always responded "all right" not presenting any of the problems that you have written here. At breakfast we offer our customers: croaissant, jams, chocolate, biscuits, butter tarts with nutella and fruit, yogurt for everyone, seasonal fruit (bananas, kiwi, strawberries), possibility to make toast with ham, bacon , Palermo cheese with olives and chilli, juice, water, tea of various flavors, cereal, milk, coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate, all buffet, what else you wanted? The payment receipt is delivered regularly, so do not understand quieted lie. As for the toilet paper, the rooms are redone so every morning it is impossible that you had to buy some roll you. One morning your room has not been rebuilt from us because your mother warned us that one of you was sick and therefore would not come out. I remind you that when you book it says that the reception service is not active H24, H24 if you need certain services I recommend booking in hotels 4/5 stars and not in the B & B. I was forgetting ... I do not write that after check-out will abbimo made available a support room until late afternoon without any additional cost or whenever you have made use of the daily dell'oario out of the breakfasts . Thanks anyway we will take note of everything and try to improve even more.

To be as brief as possible... The main point of contact, Andrea, could not have been kinder. By bad luck I developed gout in my foot as soon as we arrived from UK, in Italy and I could barely walk. Andrea offered a ride to hospital, accompanied my wife to a pharmacy and gave a lot of advice and was pleasant, helpful and conversational. To be honest I really wanted to leave him a tip but it almost seemed offensive as his actions were from the kindness if his heart. The following is factual and as a very experienced traveller and Trip Advisor contributor I feel, reluctantly, I must state: Over four days the room was not serviced at all. The soap dishes were superfluous as no soap (except liquid). No shampoo and yet a hair drier. No tea/coffee making facilities but that may be quite standard. Good: Location very close to Centrale Station excellent. Also close to many interesting attractions. Price good for location. Nice big bed. Overall must give this a GOOD review but some may not like the lack of towel/bedding changing. Thank you Andrea. You were so very kind.

We wanted to be near the train station so that we could easily find our destination once we arrived in Palermo after travelling from Toronto, Canada. The shuttle bus dropped us off at the train station and we had a very short walk (100 metres?) before we reached our B&B Art Lincoln. Our first impression when arriving around 9:30 in the evening (17:30🤓) was not favourable. The street was dirty and there was a huge wooden door with a buzzer to let the proprietor know we had indeed arrived. However, that quickly changed as this door opened and we view a huge staircase leading up into a little piece of heaven hidden from the outside. Birds of paradise, and other lovely potted plants (terrarium) with little patio tables sprinkled for two meant for its residents. Our room was huge, clean, bathroom was spacious. No toiletries other than hand soap were provided but probably if you asked would have been given. We had brought some emergency supplies and could have had no problem purchasing the next day as we were right in the middle of the city and walked everywhere. The breakfasts were delicious and included huge croissants, juices, selection of coffees, teas, sweets, yogurts, fresh fruit, cereal. We walked to the opera house (famous for the scene in Godfather III amongst other events I am sure😝), the streets are alive with many shops and people. Mounir pizzeria is on a side street off of one of the main streets and is worth the visit. Delicious. We saw Cinderella at the opera house. Amazing. Prices are excellent and well worth it. A real treat. Museums are also worth the visit. Quite amazing how Palermo is mixed with slums side by side with wealth. Interesting mix of people, wealth and poverty. Marilyn

The place is central, near train station and buses Rooms are huge Staff at respception are very friendly. Helpful and quick. Breakfast is poor : no eggs no fresh bread, just croissant, butter, jam fruit and coffee, tea Towels not automatically replaced , needed to ask after the 4th night. Very quite rooms as the place is in a backyard. No parking - needed to find a spot each day...

Admitted we booked a complete package over Expedia and we didn't has so many choices, but this one looked very appealing so we just took it. It was a great decision. We took the luxury suite which is basically a flat consisting of a main bedroom, a second bedroom with two beds and a living room with a sleep couch and a bathroom with shower. The decoration was very appealing in old style / furniture that just fits perfectly to the city. Breakfast was ok, although only sweet (read that this should be very common in Sicily). The best was and is the attention and care to the customer. Andrea you did a great job and we fully appreciated speaking to you and getting your advise. We recommend it w/o a doubt. Thank you !

We had (or thought we had! booked at B&B White to be told we hadn´t, they then suggested this place for the same money) when we arrived we were not shown the room, before taking our details, then they only accept cash, the room was basic with no outlook, old furniture and not a good smell, no toiletries in the bathroom. We needed to leave at 8 for the airport so asked what time we could have breakfast but were told with a smile breakfast did not start until 8.30! no allowances, this is a place that yes is convenient for the station apart from that there are no redeeming features as to why you should stay here. There are much better and cheaper that are as convenient.
