Nice and safe neighborhood and near the shopping area. Receptionist was very helpful via whatsapp. Clean room and comfortable bed. Overall this mini hotel was nice. Disliked · The outdoor hot tub was dirty and covered with some construction tarp. It didn't look good at all. On the last day I was told that I had to speak to the google device in Italian language in order to get hot water running into the outdoor tub. The terrace was not in best shape and sadly we didn't use it at all.
The hotel location is good, the bed comfortable and the shower worked well BUT there were a lot of shortcomings. The room was tired and the balcony very tatty. The light fittings were insufficient. The main light was on the wall, hanging very low just above a table. It came out of the wall and the fitting was almost falling out. It was just held by one loose screw. On the first day we asked for an extra lamp because we were able to see to read in bed, nothing extra was provided. We felt that the 'Bio' label was an excuse for poor quality fittings and service. It was not like the photos on the website.
We booked after reading mixed reviews. This is a city centre hotel set with large building with mixed retail and hotel use. There is a lift to the 7th (provided the door has been closed after departing the lift) We arrived at 22:30 from the airport by car. We had been provided with an access code for entry as the reception is only manned between 09:00 and 12:00 everyday. There is a very responsive WhatsApp virtual reception which I found to be excellent when I needed to contact them. The room itself was clean and basic but had almost everything we needed (a complimentary tea and coffee tray would be nice). There was a spa on the balcony which was uncovered when we arrived. We never used it as it looked like it had not been covered for a long time. There is significant road and city noise. I took earplugs, it was fine. Excellent location to explore all of the sites in Palermo.…
Close to Teatro Massimo, this hotel is comfortable and clean with spacious rooms and bathrooms. Very quiet and the city centre is one block away. No restaurant, no other services but Palermo has so many to choose from anyway. that you don't need in it in your hotel
Lovely hotel on 7th floor in central location. Helpful staff and nice light breakfast with great coffee. Good room with large balcony. Good size bathroom and comfortable bed. Good for a couple of nights stay.
Bright and modern, rooms a little rough around the edges, they just need a lick of paint and a re-grout. The staff were lovely and speak great english too. Great place for a short stay! Bonus: the terrace was really great for relaxing in the evening.
This hotel is a short walk outside the main stretch of Palermo. It's a little bit hidden and we had some trouble finding it. Google maps and some reading of the various signs was essential. The hotel is very small, taking up one floor of a tallish building. This means there is little street sound, which is nice. However, due to the small number of rooms, you're likely to be placed near the lobby, which is sometimes a little loud. The hotel has a bio theme, so there's lots of plants and some interesting handmade art on the walls. Our room had some art made out of orange peels, which was weird but nice. Breakfast was pretty good, although somewhat limited. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There is one warning to note: the elevator is very old, and very small. If you are at uncomfortable in confined spaces, you will not like this elevator. It is also impressively slow. It feels like the elevator could only be this slow by design. That's how slow it is. We usually walked the 8 floors of stairs going down, because it was quicker. Aside from the elevator, this is a convenient and cheap place to stay. Recommended.…
The hotel is on the 7th floor of a building with other hotels and is reached by a small and rundown lift. The hotel itself is quite pleasant with bright modern rooms. The single room was really tiny. Walls are also very thin and you can hear all kinds of noises. If you are in room 6 you will hear the lift going up and down all the time. Breakfast was really minimal. The staff is polite and very helpful. The location is very central. Overall I was not very impressed and would certainly not stay here again.
I was a bit thrown when I first arrived, not seeing a sign with the hotel name on the building. There are different hotels on each floor of the building. The Bio is on the top, Floor 7. The staff was very helpful and friendly, giving great directions to sites and recommendations to restaurants. I had Room 4, next to reception. Yes, I could hear voices from the reception area and the hallway, but I was not disturbed during the night by voices. There is street noise, but I didn't find it to be excessive. The room was simple and clean, and the location is ideal. I walked everywhere. And it's reasonably priced. I'd definitely stay there again.
Don‘t book it - it‘s a trap! I decided to book directly and not on a booking-platform so that the hotel doesn’t have to pay any fees and for me as customer it normally has more advantages too. Therefor I booked via phone. I got the same price as on a booking-site but wasn’t told that this is not refundable. I didn’t even get a confirmation or terms of conditions via e-mail. We had to make a change in our route and couldn’t go to Palermo. 1 month (!!) before arrival I tried to cancel our reservation - I wrote a lot of e-mails and called the hotel several times without any outcome. They didn’t WANT to help me! It’s so disgusting and ridiculous. I’m really wondering where is my advantage of booking directly. They just want your money...
