From the reception, to the quality of our room, to the beauty of the entire hotel, this hotel was excellent and completely deserves the five stars it has. But what we really enjoyed were the friendly and helpful people. Sometimes at fancy hotels the people can be uptight and cold, but at Grand Hotel Wagner they were warm, generous with smiles yet still very professional. Davide in the bar and breakfast was especially welcoming and friendly.

This is Old World Charm! The hotel is centrally located. Our bags were taken to our room by a bellboy in uniform with gloves. I saw the maids in the elevator one morning with black dresses and white aprons. It made me feel like I was “At Breakfast at Tiffany’s” There are 4 big sitting rooms on the main floor where you could meet your group of friends before an outing or to have an after dinner drink together. We enjoyed our breakfast on the 4th floor. By the 4th day, they were bringing my cappuccino with an extra shot of expresso as soon as I sat down. I wish they cooked their bacon a little crispier. This was true all over Sicily. Fatty bacon just doesn’t appeal to me. Maybe it’s a European thing. We felt very spoiled staying here.

I stayed here at the end of September and had a pleasant stay. The hotel is situated in downtown Palermo and is beautifully decorated. The breakfast is first class, the service is professional and attentive and the rooms were clean and very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Great location for your Palermo adventure. Staff is very nice and accommodating, small European rooms but very clean and well appointed. Nice breakfast with staff that welcomes you warmly and remembers your coffee order! Would definitely stay here again

Hotel is in a nice quiet area. Very clean and a most comfortable bed. Lovely breakfast area on the 4th floor, food was very nice. Pleasant staff but the hotel could do with some refurbishment. Some of the electrics sockets are a bit loose. On saying that we still had a very pleasant stay.

Comfortable room, AC worked well, nice breakfast, helpful staff, great place if you can stand the gaudy decor. All the bling and tackiness just not our thing, but if you can ignore that, it's a great place.

This is a real first class experience. It is like going to live in the Versailles palace (France). Breakfast was great and Giovanni of the serving staff was particularly excellent. Hotel was absolutely top drawer.

Hotel is on the great place, you can walk everywhere. Brekfast was great, the rooms were very clean, and the interior just right for Palermo. Staff is amazing, especially people at the front desk, Alida and Roberto, and the people in the restaurant, Giovanni and Federica . I am alergic to peanuts, and they couldn’t say if pastry and tarts are safe, so the next day for brekfast Federica from the restaurant brought me special croissant and apple tart made just for me❤️ Highest recommendation for this hotel!

Great and spacious suites. Good breakfast buffet with many choices. Excellent housekeeping services and front desk staff. Convenient location to make popular sites and restaurants. Teatro Massimo is a short walk as are many really great restaurants.
