Great little hotel with lovely service and accommodating staff.Gratzi Luca! Gratzi the young ladies at breakfast. We did have trouble finding it on the GPS as it would not come up but used #4 instead of 13 and got here. The road is Lungomare D'ortiga not di ortiga. Other than these very small problems we highly enjoyed our stay and...

I visited the Royal Maniace Hotel in April 2011. The location is unbeatable; away from the bustle of city traffic and right on the seafront at Ortigia. The hotel was immaculately clean and comfortable. Ortigia itself is beautiful and pretty exotic; well worth a visit. I was glad to be staying there rather than in the city of Syracuse itself,...

This is a fine newish hotel on Ortigia. A sea view is essential, especially with a good balcony like room 116, which has space for three plus table and a walkway. Maybe slightly offputting for the number of passers-by in summer though! Breakfast is excellent with plenty of fresh bread, cakes, fruit etc. There is a pleasant garden and courtyard...

The hotel is very good. However, we wanted wi-fi and it was not available in the room, only in the lobby. The staff indicated that there was a temporary problem but never got back with a resolution after our request for it to be checked out. It was disappointing as we could not enjoy the beautiful view from our room...

We had four rooms and loved this hotel: it is charming, fantastic location, delicious breakfast, and helpful and friendly staff. My room have a balcony overlooking the sea and Ortigia, WIFI was great. I definitely recommend this hotel if you are going to Siracuse. Great for couples, families and friends.

The Deluxe room was large, with a balcony overlooking the sea, fantastic view! The small road below is not a problem, very quiet. The breakfast was excellent with local specialties such as almond milk. Great location as well, in the middle of the Ortigia pensinsula, all attractions of this old part of Syracusa are accessible by foot. Only negative point:...

This hotel was situated directly on seafront and our hotel room/small suite with terrace overlooked the sea. All the sites we wanted to visit were within walking distance and Piazza del Duomo, only minutes away, was the perfect setting for an evening meal. The hotel staff were professional, friendly and helpful, organising both our taxi transfers from Catania airport &...

Hotel is in a stunning location, within very easy walking distance of the old historical city. Breakfast good and generally good service from the reception staff. Complementary Wifi which was great. We booked two rooms one had a spectacular sea view and the other looking out over the garden. My slight criticism of the accommodation would be that we had...

We had a really enjoyable three nights stay. Parking was right outside the hotel. Breakfast was simply but adequate (excellent coffee). Bathroom was clean but the showerr could have done with a good clean at the bottom. Sky tv cost 12 euros per programme (if they actaully subscribe to that particular channel)
