There's a serene almost hushed feeling in this building. Our room was small but the bathroom was large and both were nicely decorated. The bed and pillows were wonderful. We had a single window with an ocean view. We left it open both nights and could hear the surf. The street itself was very quiet. Breakfast was nice and no...

It is important to note to first time visitors that there are two parts to this hotel. We stayed in the Albergo which is on the sea front as opposed to the main hotel which is across the road. We opted for the sea view room and were not disappointed. Fantastic view and very large double bed [the only one on...

This hotel is a real gem! Fantastic position by the sea and really helpful and courteous staff. Wonderful breakfast too. Most locations in Ortygia are easy to get from here. Will definitively be back. Thank you Davide, Cinzia and Maria Pina. Also loved to visit the church next door - unbelievable to open a door and find oneself in a...

Of the six hotels we stayed at in Sicily, this was the best. The location is by the sea and convenient to everything. The hotel itself has extremely friendly and helpful reception desk staff, is impeccably clean, and has a calming serenity about it. Our room was spacious by Sicilian standards. The room had windows overlooking the sea, and we...

So clean, polite helpful courteous staff at very instance. Stayed 2 nights with huge European style breakfast served in lovely small dining room. Traditional Italian decor with modern renovations & crisp ironed hand towels! Had a Turkish bath & salt scrub. Scheduled for 1 hr including bath part but scrub lasted longer. Included facial. Cleanest spa that I have ever...

This hotel is a converted convent that includes a Chapel with beautiful interiors. Our room on the 4th floor was accessible by elevator, a luxury in older properties. Our room overlooked the interior courtyard. The twin beds were very comfortable and the sheets and comforters were luxurious especially after a long day of touring. I also used the spa services...

Nicely located, right on the sea; though our room only overlooked the interior patio space. We had a (perhaps??) king bed w/an extra day bed type of furniture off to the side. Room was spacious. Our 1st room had no shower, so we asked to be moved which was done happily. The shower was great! Breakfast was good -- mostly...

Loved our stay here on the island Ortigia in Syracuse. Great charm and much small winding history on each route throughout the town. This was a great place to stay for the price and location. Parking can be a challenge on this small island but plenty was available off the street across from the hotel. Breakfast was a nice selection...

My husband wants a shower , and what we got was a non working jacuzzi tub with a hand wand . Instead of the double or queen bed- two twin beds. Haven't tried the breakfast yet but eggs are extra we have been told. Except for shower issue- the bathroom well appointed. Close to shopping and churches.

The room had a wonderful sea view so we could go to sleep listening to the waves! It is a perfect position to explore syracuse and we walked everywhere. We were reccomended great resturants by...
