At the end of our travels through Italy we stayed on Sicily for 3 nights in Syracuse. Great accommodation, magnificent views of the sea, warm welcome from Giovanna and Claudia. Very accommodating as we had our Golden Retriever with us. Great cappuccinos at breakfast (now I have to raise my standards at home!) All in all a great stay and...

We were warmly greeted when we arrived, and the warmth continued throughout our stay. The rooms were basic beach rooms with tile floors, but the place was immaculate! The rooms have balconies overlooking the ocean. We wanted to go into town the first night and while asking for directions, Sabrina told us she would drive us. We had a very...

Most of what can be said has already been said by other reviewers. Absolute full marks in every respect. - 20 minute walk from Ortygia, but the walk is easy.If you don't fancy the walk there is a good restaurant just up the street. - Not sure how you easy it would be to get there by public transport, but...

There is nothing between you and the sea at this quiet and engrossing place. Charming and professional host Sabrina is in charge and will take care of all your problems like it might be hers. Breakfast with ricotta or smoked Gouda from the local farm on the balcony under the rising sun. Ortiga is a short walk - for us...

We had an absolutely amazing experience at this B&B from the first night " orientation" tea with Sabrina when she gave us tons of tips to our departure when our only regret was we could not have stayed longer! Everything from the unbelievable view from our balcony, to swimming right in front of the house was perfect. We felt we...

What a place ! This B&B has got all what someone coming to visit Sicily would dream of: 1/ live in a Sicilian house - in fact the hotel was the owner's grand mother villa and the owner converted it beautifully 2/ the room was just amazing : the view on the sea is mind-blowing ; the room is huge,...

We stayed 6 nights in July 13 for our honeymoon. Sabrina and Claudia made us feel super welcome and we could not have asked for a more romantic location. We sat outside on our sea-facing balcony in perfect peace just listening to the waves, watched fishing boats in the distance and enjoyed some fabulous picnic lunch they packed for us...

Stayed here for two nights in June with my wife on Honeymoon. Maybe a little tricky to find but definitely worth it. The view from our room was breathtaking and we could walk outside directly on to the rocks and the sea. They even provided snorkeling equipment for the guests to use free of charge, granted it wasn't great but...

I loved this B&B. It was really clean, the rooms are spacious with a balcony overlooking the sea and breakfast is fresh and filling. Although Ortiga is a 20 minute walk away I was delighted to have a stroll home after dinner in the evenings. The owner is super friendly and makes you feel at home. I would highly recommend...

I stayed at this B&B in June and loved it. My room was very spacious and clean with an amazing view on the sea from my private balcony. Very generous breakfast on their balcony by the sea. When staying at Giuggiulena, you have a direct access to the sea. You can snorkel and you will see lots of fish. It...

Clung to the sedimentary rock from which it's named after: "Giuggiulena" the building is almost a place set apart, a secret place, a shelter of serenity and natural beauty overlooking the sea accompanied by the waves and the moon. The sight goes up to the big harbour's creek and Ortigia, from where is just 15 minute walk. The love we feel for this place and our guests naturally makes us pay attention and extra care to every single detail in order to offer them joyful days and unforgettable nights. ... more   less
