We stayed at the Ashbee Hotel beginning of August and we had a wonderful stay. The location of the hotel is perfect because everything is walking distance (bars, restaurants, shops...). It was also very easy to go to the beach (Isola or private beaches). The staff was very helpful and super nice. The room was very nice, with a huge... More

We spend several nights at the Ashbee while staying in Taormina. The a bit older, the property has been regularly maintained. The views from the terrace and pool down the mountainside are quite stunning. The pool area is quite, quite small and I wonder how the hotel can accommodate all guests during its busiest times. The hotel lounge is really... More

Fascinating history of this boutique hotel. Gorgeous interior with great views, either at the infinity pool or on the top floor for breakfast or a drink in the evening. Ideally located to walk to the main strip of Taormina. Mary and Franscisco are stars. Couple of caveats, not a lot of wardrobe space and our room was in the main... More

A lovely hotel in the heart of the busy town yet peaceful and quiet. Nice staff and very clean. A basic breakfast buffet but good enough. very expensive for any extras you might want so best to eat and drink out. Small but nice pool, mosquito repellent recommended for the evening.

The Ashbee is perfection! Location, comfort, views, and service were all outstanding. The villa has been restored to feel completely modern without losing it's original charm. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Can't say enough good things. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

Spent 10 days here in late July and can only have praise for the place and the excellent staff. Nothing was any trouble to them and always when served you received a cheery "your welcolme" Location for the main shopping area a short stroll away though road outside was busy so some care needed. View from pool along the coast... More

Check in quick and friendly and bags taken to room whilst escorted to bar for introductory juice. Room away from main building no problem but if you want a view must go top floor. We had what is described as garden view but it was a private small terrace surrounded by bushes. Suited us out of the sun but there... More

This is a lovely hotel in an idyllic location, it would have been perfect apart from the room, the infamous no 37!! As per previous feedback this room is right next to the main road in Taormina with constant traffic and although we asked for a balcony it was in the sun all day with no canopy, hence we didn't... In my opinion it is not situated in a tranquil corner of Taormina as our holiday brochure quoted. If you pay extra for a balcony you could find yourself adjacent to the busy, noisy main road with its toxic fumes.
