We arrived in the evening and took a late dinner on the balcony overlooking the sea. What a stunning and elegant setting for a dinner patio. The same can be said for the pool, and the hotel itself. Felt like I was in a James Bond movie. Make sure to check out their beach, accessed with their shuttle.

The first impression is that the Hotel is upscale. You walk into the lobby the marble floors shine and the woodwork is glimmering. The service at reception is cordial and unassuming. Get a glass of wine and sit in one of the comfortable chairs and people watch before you go outside to view the infinity pool overlooking the blue Mediterranean.... More

GHSP is a lovely hotel up on a cliff looking over the sea. The view from the breakfast terrace is stunning, and the food is just great. I'd gladly stay there again. The place is a little on the high side, but it has a lovely feel to it.

The room was fine and the view from the balcony was superb. However, the bathroom, while providing a bath, only had a small, rather weak overhead shower inside the bath. You had to clamber in. Breakfast was far below average for this class of hotel with soggy bacon, a dry crumble of scrambled eggs and noisily conversing, not very attentive... More

Let's establish one thing right away. This is not of the standard expected in this day and age of a 5-star deluxe hotel. I am blessed and lucky enough to have stayed in some truly fantastic hotels and resorts across the world so I have a fairly good idea of what 5-star deluxe constitutes and what to expect in the... We stayed here for 4 nights and were very happy with this hotel. We had a spectacular view from our room; sunrises are gorgeous. The breakfast area was beautiful (except there were a lot of bees). The hotel is well maintained and very clean. Great location. There are a lot of stairs to get up to the town, but I... More

We booked by internet for 1 week in this R&C. A junior suite, price 550€/day, breakfast included. That breakfast was very disappointing, especially when you have to cope with it during a whole week. As others complained on this site, the choice was quite limited: no other eggs than scrambled, no Parmaham, no salmon, only 2 types of very soft,... More

This hotel holds a dear place in our hearts as we had our reception of our wedding day here. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make it special for us. We stayed at the hotel for a week along with some of our wedding guests. The pool bar was peaceful with stunning views. The range of food and... More

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and my only regret is that is was not longer. Everything was perfect. The staff was wonderful, very accommodating of all requests. A shuttle was provided to and from the town. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxing. Our room had a beautiful balcony overlooking the sea.... More

Beautifully positioned, on a slight spur out to sea, the views are stunning to the south, and to the north to the Straits of Messina. As you enter the impression is of luxury and elegance and this is carried through the hotel. Reception is helpful and friendly. B/fast is good (tea/coffee served at table), but no eggs to order. A...
