Our room was lovely, roomy and clean with an amazing ceiling and characteristic furniture. The bathroom instead was very small with an ill fitted shower. The location of the b&b is perfect and is on a very quiet little street which allowed us to sleep really well. The breakfast was nice with pecorino cheese and crudo toscano as well as... More

The b&b is in a very quite little street, but just a few steps from one of the main streets of Cortona. The room was clean and spacious, comfy beds, blackout shades, etc. Nice continental breakfast. The owner was very nice and accommodating (we needed to make some changes to our reservation and she was very accessible). I would definitely... More

Charming place! It's in the heart of the town; the room was spacious, the caretaker was so nice and friendly. She doesn't speak much english, but is so accomodating. The breakfast was wonderful. The only thing is I wish it had a lift, but it was only one floor up. It was in an old building, so that was charming.... More

Very nice, inexpensive accomodation in the traditional, old house. Close to the heart of cortona. Rooms are spacious if you consider size of the building. All facilities needed. Breakfast rather poor but price, ambient and super friendly landlady who speaks no English gonna make it up for you.

Very friendly lady caretaker, although she does not speak English, nothing a few general translations wouldn't solve . She prepared breakfast each morning and waited patiently for us to finish and clean up. Fuss free B&B, very clean rooms and great location, just off center Via Roma. The B&B itself is a tastefully refurbished 18th century building. Could get a... More

Firstly the location within the Piazza was wonderful. So fantastic to be so close to all the gorgeous restaurants and after four days we felt like a local! Our taxi driver would come and collect us to go and visit more spectacular places conveniently located, like Assissi! That was amazing. The accommodation was perfect and our lovely lady was always... If you plan to sleep in Cortona this Locanda is one of the inexpensive opportunities. The rooms and building are beautiful and you have a new bathroom. The woman in charge for the B&B is very lovely and caring. Be aware that you have to park the car outside the walls (white places are for free).

This place is perfect for a quite weekend in Cortona. Located right in the city centre, just six or seven rooms, all furnished with great taste (antique furniture in all rooms, cotto floors and original wooden beams on the ceiling). The price is good given the location and the quality of service. I would definitely reccommend it!

At the end of May my husband and I decided to spend a week end in Cortona to visit the Della Robbia's exhibit. Once in the center of Cortona we starded looking around for a place to stay overnight and, after walking around in the beautifull center of Cortona we passed in Vicolo Petrella were we saw the sign of...
