This was the most beautiful B&B I've ever been to. Luckily I came to Cortona in January so I was able to get a room at Dolce Maria. Based on the reviews by previous guests, I had made a request to stay in the Torcetta room to have access to the private rooftop terrace. However upon my arrival, the owner...

I arrived with my 18 y/o son for a two day stay in Cortona. We took Italian lessons at Polymnia with Laura and then had an amazing 3 hour cooking class and meal with Paola, the owner of the B&B. We made bread dough which produced bruschetta, pizza, crostini, foccacia and little rolls, fresh pasta including spinach/ricotta ravioli and tagliatelle...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dolce Maria...will definitely stay there again...Paola was very helpful (drove us in her car to ours at checkout), and very pleasant...Location is very close to all things Cortona, restaurant on premises, and others very close, as well as everything else...We enjoyed our three nights here, spent one full day in Cortona, and the 2nd...

This is an amazing place to stay and Paola is an excellent host. The location is close to places to eat and shop; there is even an excellent restaurant on the first floor. The rooms have antique furniture, high wood beam ceilings and plenty of windows to let in the Tuscan sun. Truly a beautiful place to stay. I would...

Had a lovely 1 night's stay in Cortona at Dolce Maria. Our room was spacious, with large windows, high ceilings and a modern, clean bathroom. The location is very convenient, just steps from the main piazza and great restaurants. We enjoyed a nice breakfast with Paola and her mom, who was a charming host with her delicious apple cake and...

Parked outside walls and only short walk to B & B. On arrival Paola the owner arranged for her husband to collect our luggage with his car and transport to B&B. We could have easily walked the bags up but he kindly insisted to help us as we had 2 large suitcases. Overall the room was beautifully appointed with many...

My husband and I stayed at this lovely B&B for two nights recently and loved it! Our room was very private, beautifully appointed and included a private terrace with an amazing panoramic view (accessible by a steep, narrow, spiral stairway, but who cares? It was worth it!). The central location is quite convenient and close to the Piazza della Repubblica, and...

This intimate B&B has everything you could want for a visit to Cortona. Located in a beautifully restored palazzo just a few minutes away from Cortona's main piazza, the guest rooms are full of the charm and character you would hope for when visiting this lovely medieval city. And for a town that can be expensive, it's surprisingly affordable given...

I stayed at Dolce Maria for four nights and was delighted by the rooms and service I received. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for the family whether keeping your coffee topped up or enjoying the homemade jams available and making sure the free wifi works. I would heartily recommend staying there.
