First of all I would like to say that this luxury B&B has a great location! It is situated very close to many of the best restaurants in Firenze (tip: via di Santo Spirito). This street is packed with amazing restaurants. Although it is in the center, the fact that its on the opposite side of the river, gives you...

We have recently returned from a stay here and I would have to recommend it. It is most definitely an oasis. Our room wasn't noisy as we didn't overlook the square but it was little noisy as we heard everyone coming in and out as the styling creates echo. All in all though it was minor. They do need to...

We stayed here for the first 3 nights of our honeymoon and I loved it! Such a great location, lovely decor, comfy bed, fantastic breakfast. Considering we were in a city I don't actually find it noisy at night, and we were in one of the rooms overlooking the square. My only criticisms would be the upstairs room (kitchen/living area)...

We stayed here for 3 nights. The room was modern and generally clean. However, it was quite noisy (probably the windows were not providing good soundproof) as the B&B is located above a square, where there are restaurants opening till midnights and people would gather/ sit down to perhaps enjoy their gelato. There were no staff except in the morning...

This was my second visit to Florence and I already knew that I would love the location of Floroom 1. What I had not anticipated was just how calming this fabulous B&B would be after either the seriously fraught flight (nearly missed our plane) or a day sightseeing in this wonderful city. Floroom is an oasis of calm. It's location...

I stayed there for 3 nights with my husband in Sep 2012 and we just love this hotel and I am confident to recommend this one to all my friends if you are travelling for leisure. This is a very modernly designed B&B with a reception and a few guest rooms on the same floor, upper floor is a little/cozy...

I stayed at Floroom 1 during my honeymoon, and had a lovely couple of days there. There were no other guests, so we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. It's very well designed throughout, the room we stayed in was very nice, clean and comfortable (combination of very modern with old historic charm), spacious and with very high...

Fantastic find! Loved our room. Although room was small it had everything we needed. The lounge and kitchen were fantastic but the best bit was the location - the Piazza below was amazing with a couple if bars /restaurants and the best gelati store. Definately would stay again.

You can't go wrong with this clean, modern B&B with friendly and personal service. I recently stayed here in mid-October and had an excellent experience. It is well-situated right near Piazza Pitti, very close to the Arno river/Ponte Vecchio, yet tucked in a quiet area for good sleep. The owners were timely, well-organized and prompt (unlike other B&Bs where they...

Very good and personal service. Floroom 1 had a very nice location at Piazza Passera and close to Piazza Pitti and the river. Very nice modern style rooms.

Staying in Pitti

Neighbourhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.

“I would recommend this for couples only. They make very good use of the space (Europe is known for smaller rooms), but that said the bathroom is frosted glass and intimate. It may prove uncomfortable for non-couples.”

“Make sure your bedroom window doesn't face onto the below piazza as it may get noisy. We did not have this issue as our bathroom window looked over the piazza and we were not disturbed when we wanted to sleep.”

“This is a couples B&B. Its a no-no for families! If I am not mistaken there are a total of 4 rooms available. All are on the lower floor. Upstairs you can find a nice lounge which doubles as breakfast space. Keep in mind that there is no elevator so you have to take your stuff 3 floors by stairs. Of course it is not suitable for people in wheelchairs.”
