Fantastic rooms, close to all major sights in Florence. 10 to 15 minutes from rail and bus station. Stefano very helpful. No meals served but there is a kitchen area where you can heat food or eat take away. Cold water available from dispenser. Rooms very airy and very clean.

I spent only one night but I had a very good experience. The staff was really friendly and helpful, the room was pretty big for two persons and clean. The B&B actually does not offer breakfast but they have an agreement with a bar just downstairs which is very good! The very main point of the Residenza it's its location....

Small hotel in the center of Firenze. 300m from Piaza il Duomo. Very nice rooms with WIFI and airconditioning. Kitchen with coffee, tea and cold water. Stefano treated us very well and had lots of suggestions for restaurants and sights.

Got a really warm welcome from Stefano when my daughter and I arrived. Absolutely loved location, very central for every attraction that Florence has to offer. Our room was beautiful, high ceilings and lovely decor, clean and well maintained. Would not hesitate to recommend this for a city break, however, this is not a hotel so as long as you...

A classic Florence house with modern facilities in a brilliant location, next door to a lovely place for breakfast. We were made very welcome. The little kitchen has tea, coffee, fresh chilled water and microwave. The air conditioning is excellent and quiet. We have already booked our return visit.

A true gem hidden in the center of Florens. Lovely rooms and even lovelier staff. Will definitely go back. A little warning but this has nothing to do with the hotel - if you like your car, leave it outside of the city center. The garages treats the cars as luggage in an airport.

To reach the Residenza Della Signoria from the airport we opted to take a taxi and it was a wise decision. The residenza is more than likely easy to reach IF you know your way around Florence, but being in a restricted access area we would not have found a mode of public transportation that would've dropped us close enough...

Wow - recommend by friends who stayed here last year, the Residenza is central to just about all the major sites! We loved it! Our room looked out on to the Main Street that runs from the Duomo to the Piazza - windows opened to enjoy the sounds of the city, but almost totally quiet when closed again - only...

From the very very first contact with Stefano I was impressed with the level of personal service. Firstly, the location is excellent. Within walking distance of all the major attractions. We had toom 1 and 3. Both beautiful rooms with high beams and lovely furniture. We arrived early in the morning and Stefano let us check in earlier and leave...

Lovely room. Hosts were very welcoming. The property was cleaned regularly (probably more often than was needed). Fabulous location - within walking distance of just about everything. Property is on the 3rd floor, but there is a lift. Wifi worked fine (2 networks to choose from). Breakfast is not provided (but they have an arrangement with the cafe downstairs so...

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
