I have been living here in Florence in this wonderful apartment in the quiet neighborhood of Porta Romana in the Oltrarno. I walk 1.25 miles to class every day which enables me to eat as much as I want and the restaurants nearby are outstanding (Cotto a Puntino, Antica Porta for pizza and Cafe Petrarcha for out of this world...

We had a three-night stay at Clara's apartment late Sept. this fall - our first stay here - and felt very much at home at once. Clara met us warmly, after having guided us by phone before arrival (coming by car from Rome). It seems the perfect place to be in Firenze, both for wandering around the city - 15...

I take a trip to Florence every April and have stayed at Poggio Imperiale every year since 2007. Let me start by saying that Clara and Carlo couldn't be more hospitable. I am always greeted by one of them upon my arrival and immediately made to feel at home. Although I am familiar with Florence, they are always eager to...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Clara's apartment. We stayed 7 days and everything was perfect. It is in a great location that is close to everything that you'd want to see from a tourist perspective and also gives you a flavor of living away from the big crowds. Clara and her assistant were outstanding and helped with our every...

We stayed for three nights in this wonderful place and I couldn't recommend it more. It had all the amenities you could wish for, was close to the centre and no questions or requests were unanswered. We are definitely coming back - and are highly recommending it to everyone else in the interim.

We loved our stay in this lovely appartment near to Porta Romana and the Boboli gardens. We especially appreciated our warm welcome from Clara and all the useful tips she gave us on how to make the most of our stay in Florence. The location is ideal for visiting the city centre whilst feeling that you are not in the...

Fine apartments! Everywhere it is very pure! I and my husband delighted! Thanks a lot to the managing director Carlo, very well all told us (though we know English a little). The parking very convenient, was in the building opposite, costs not much. After walks on the center of Florence it was fantastically pleasant to come back to our apartments....

Adorable apartment nestled in a beautiful area of Florence within walking distance to many shops and cafes. Apartment is exactly as pictured on website. Decorated very nicely with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Felt like coming home after a long day of sightseeing. City center is about a 20-25 minute walk. Bus stop is only 5 min. walk....
