Palazzo Tolomei is a beautiful place, the location is ideal and it is lovelier because of Daniela and her staff. They actually care about your stay in Florence and strive to make it perfect. This trip was extra special for us since it was our honeymoon. I will try to return to Palazzo Tolomei as soon as possible.

Stayed here during the month of October. I was skeptical about staying here, but I am so happy I did. This is one of my favorite hotels. Its such a magical place and the location is great! Walking distance from everything. The rooms are straight out of a fairytale and there is a lot of history behind this palace. Customer... More

My wife and I spent two wonderful days in Florence in October 2016 and Palazzo Tolomei deserves a large portion of the credit for the success of our trip. As a writer of historical novels ("Dracula Chronicles", a nine volume series on the life of the REAL Dracula, which takes place in the 15th century) I am naturally enamored with... More

The only way to describe this amazing palazzo is magical. You'd walk right by it if you didn't have the address and that is part of the charm. It's identified by a small brass plaque on the wall. After being buzzed in you'll walk through an iron gate and into a 15th century courtyard. Get ready...because once you walk into... More

My husband and I recently spent 5 nights at this wonderful property! The room was incredibly spacious and had a beautiful Fresco on the ceiling. The hostess Daniella was delightful and helped with all of our dinner arrangements. Everything is walking distance, including the local market which has a wonderful selection of food and wines. Highly recommend!

We were traveling with our college age son and we were given an apartment with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, living room with kitchen and a large covered terrace overlooking the roofs of Florence. Danielle, the proprietress, is a phenomenal hostess and her staff is most attentive. The hotel is within a 10 minute walk of all of the sights in town.... More

The four of us, (myself, my husband, our son and his girlfriend, all grown ups) had the topmost rooms in this amazing place with views over the terracotta roofs of Florence. Despite being central we found it a quiet place to stay. Walking past the huge studded wooden doors through the wrought iron gate to the courtyard with it's lush... More

Danielle and Bianca were absolutely fabulous during our 2 night stay. The beauty of this place brought my wife to tears and our room was isolated and away from the other rooms in the palace. Breakfast is great and a they go the extra mile to make sure it a true Florentine experience. It is also 10 minutes from the... More

My wife and I spent a weekend at Palazzo Tolomei. It's impossible to avoid getting sucked into the beauty and history of this old Palazzo. Its magnificent rooms offer high, fascinating fresco ceilings and plenty of space to retreat. We had a little balcony facing the courtyard which was beautiful. The reception and communal lounge rooms are warm and welcoming.... More

The room was so large and so well set up that it left us speechless. It had a canopy bed and a table that was 10 feet long. I guess we were put into the honeymoon suite. Sorry, just not used to it after numerous European rooms with just enough room to turn around. If not staying in this room,... More
