Our group of three women stayed here for two nights in May 2011. The directions given to us were spot-on, and it was a 20 minute walk from the train station, slightly uphill. The staff of the hotel were friendly and courteous, and gave us some good tips on sites and places to eat. We were able to walk easily...

I stayed in this hotel for 8 days and would definitely reccomend it. It's really good value - a nice and clean budget hotel and quite cheap. The neighborhood is quiet, but only 5-10 minutes walking to all the main sites. Also, the staff is really helpful and friendly. I got ill while staying in Florence and they were very...

We stayed in this hotel with some friends for a night. The location is right in the middle of florence wich was really nice. If traveling by car you cant park near the hotel. The service was excellent. The rooms where small, we had to share the bathroom with another room. It was clean and enough for the price we...

I traveled with 2 friends to Florence in early June. This room was nice and spacious and clean and comfortable. It was a little odd to have the glass shower stall, sink and bidet behind a screen in the room with the water closet down the hall, but it met our needs.

The hosts were lovely and helpful, and provided good tips on Florence. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment. Room was quiet and a good size. Shared toilet was no problem. Good wifi. Right near the university but felt safe. Good food nearby and close to the markets and sights. No complaints for the price!

What an interesting place - cool decor - masks, antiques, art. No elevator, but the staff was great with the bags. Daniele was really a terrific resource and very kind to us. Our two boys ate something that disagreed with them in Rome and were so sick when we arrived. Daniele got us in to one of our rooms early...

We decided to stay four nights at Loggia Fiorentina based on the solid reviews and the hard-to-beat prices. In general, we liked the hotel, but I do have to admit to being surprised that the room "with private shower" is literally just that: in the corner of your bedroom, you have a shower, sink, and bidet. There's no toilet and...

Overbooking !!! We deeply excuse us by heart. As noted in many other reviews, our property and coworkers go above and beyond in providing our guests with exceptional service and we regret that this was not your experience. Unfortunately once a while the booking system is not working as it should. It happened very rarely 3 times in 3 years....

The staff at Loggia Fiorentina are excellent -- attentive, helpful, knowledgeable about the city, its attractions, and "hidden gems". The staff also speak English very well, and gladly helped us arrange for a driver to take us from Naples to Amalfi on our last day in Florence. The location is also very convenient, close to the train station and the...

We started off our visit to this hotel on the wrong foot because the clerk told us we could drive our rental car to the hotel if we wanted. DO NOT try driving in Florence! After much frustration with the traffic and one-way streets, we finally gave up, parked the car, and walked the rest of the way to the...
