Perfect location and lovely terrace. We opted for a deluxe room which was perfect. We had room 415 which overlooks a courtyard and has a large jacuzzi bath. When I return to Florence I will most definitely stay here.

The Hotel is located at the closest point of Ponte Vecchio. It's almost invisible until you arrived. The old fashion decoration and details are quite good for the price. I've made an upgrade when I arrived with my wife and the results were marvelous. Breakfast is incredible and rooms are quite comfortable. Small but precious. The Terrace needs a special...

Located on busy street near the river. Since air conditioning was limited, we had to keep windows open at night which was loud. Street noise all night from motorcycles, sirens and trucks kept waking us up. Lots of stairs to enter as well. Overpriced. We switched hotels for less money and found peace and quiet.

I stayed at the Hotel Hermitage in Florence in early October. The location of the hotel is very convenient and central. It’s only about 12 euros to the train station and 25 euros from the airport. You can pretty much walk everywhere in central Florence. It’s across from the Ponte Vecchio and a few blocks from the Uffizi. The convenient...

We booked a superior room which we learned was the same size as a standard room except for a bathtub in the bathroom. Rooms are very small, wardrobe for clothes and one tiny chair next to it. That is to be expected in an old hotel, but this was particularly small. Decorations are very tired. During breakfast, the buffet ran...

Other than the location, this hotel is only average. The rooms are very small, and very dark and the pillows are hard. We noticed some stains on the wall around toilet. Note that the toilet tanks can take time to fill up before you can flush. The view from terrace is lovely as is the dinning and lounge area. Breakfast is...

We stayed here for 3 nights and were not disappointed. Our room looked out over the Arno River and the window closed shut out the street noise ok. The breakfast room was stunning as was the lounge and rooftop terrace. We had a glass of wine there on our last night. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was a...

Nice hotel. Heard a lot of street noise which was not enjoyable, but the location is right near the Arno River and the Ponti Vecchio bridge. Could walk to many places. Lovely rooftop terrace with flowers and lime trees.

We booked our room six months in advance and we wished for a top floor room with a view. We got it and enjoyed the week enormously. The view wasn't from the room, but instead there was a wonderful roof terrace right next to our room where we spent a few afternoons in the sun. There is a view over...

This hotel is in the perfect location. Steps away from the Ponte Vecchio. Take the mini D bus to get here. Not the same bus to leave. Wonderful staff, bathroom was wonderful and the bed was a little hard. Great hotel.

Staying in Uffizi

Neighbourhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
