We were only there for one night but it is in a good location overlooking the river, with an easy walk to everything. Small room but a very good value. Friendly helpful staff and nice rooftop patio. Easy cab ride to the train station.
This little hotel is in an incredible location just steps from the Ponte Vecchio, and minutes away from practically all of Florence. Monica and Yolanda were extremely helpful prior to our arrival making various dinner reservations for us, as well as finding some stores close...More
Lovely Quaint hotel with an amazing staff! Spacious room with great view of courtyard. Widow shutters opened to let in a beautiful breeze! Breakfast buffet served on rooftop terrace. Staff will make anything extra you request. Such a great location! Easy walk to all major...More
This is a lovely hotel and Monica was great, very welcoming. I had asked for a pre-packed breakfast as I had a very early morning tour the next day. She told me that they were unable to have it ready that early, but it would...More
A pleasant hotel with a great location, however one thing I hadn't read before booking is that there is a restaurant/bar on the corner playing loud music until late at night and lots of people smoking and shouting outside. We were only there two nights...More
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the
Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.

There is no direct bus from the hotel to get to Piazzale Michelangelo. You have to take first the bus D (stop: ponte alle grazie- Direction: Piazza Ferrucci) arriving in Piazza Ferrucci. In piazza Ferrucci then you have to take the bus number 13, direction: Piazzale Michelangelo, arriving directly there.
Coming back, you take the bus n. 13 and you stop at the train station. From there, you can walk to the hotel or take a taxi.
Walking from the hotel to the piazzale takes about 30 minutes.

The hotel has a small elevator but you will have to walk up one flight of stairs from the street to reach it. You will be given a code to use it while you are there. The office is on the fifth floor. There is one more flight of stairs after that to get to the roof terrace which is wonderful for drinks and snacks at night and breakfast in the morning.
