I enjoyed everything about the Arizona. The staff was very friendly, they are also the owners, and the room very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was extra nice. The complimentary breakfast was very good. The same people own the restaurant next door and it ended up being the best one we found in Florence, excellent food and reasonable prices, plus we got 10% off for staying at the hotel. We happened to sit next to other Americans at the restaurant and one was a famous jazz piano player who, after dinner, came across the street to our hotel and played great New Orleans Dixieland at the hotel piano (which needs tuning). It was a magical night. The hotel is within walking distance of anything you would want to see. Anyway, I highly recommend this hotel and the adjacent

I recently stayed at Hotel Arizona with my father and my son. The hotel was very nice, well kept and the room was very clean. The staff were very pleasant as well. My husband wanted to send me flowers as a surprise and Elton made it happen. When I got back from our walk I came into the room to a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Hotel Arizona is located in a great location as well, walking distance to the museums and many great restaurants.

We spent a night here on our way home from Tuscany and found this hotel to be just what we needed. It’s clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, our room was relatively spacious and well-furnished, and the breakfast (kosher breakfast optional) was generous. We walked from the hotel to the Piazza della Signora, over the Ponte Vecchio to the Pitti Palace and back - a bit of a long walk but definitely doable. All in all, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant affordable hotel located in the center of Firenze (Florence).

The location of this hotel was ok. The shower didn't drain properly and overflowed. The room was a little dingy and dark. Everything was acceptable otherwise. The breakfast was minimal but fine. I would stay elsewhere if I return to Florence.

One of the smallest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in, but clean and functional. Bathroom was a good size, wifi worked well, however hair dryer not great. Location is excellent if you want to be close to the tourist attractions, but not in the centre of the craziness. Neighbourhood has a very local feel with lots of cute spots to eat. Walk to the Duomo in 15 minutes. Breakfast buffet was simple: eggs, cold meat, fruit, cereal and toast.

This hotel was small but met all of our needs. The room was good enough but the bathroom was tiny, especially the shower. The staff were helpful and offered the best breakfast spread we found in Italy. Florence is easily walkable and this hotel is convenient located within a 15-20 minute walk to everything, including the train station. Room had safe and fridge. Amazing restaurant right across the street.

Very small, outdated, mold in the room, smelled like smoke constantly, the shower is 2.5 ft by 2.5 ft at most. Staff never at the desk, our towels were hanging to dry and they came and "cleaned" our room by just folding out wet towels and hanging them up so then we had super wet towels for our shower that evening. Overall, would stay away from this place!

The biggest plus of this hotel is its location-it's situated in walking distance from all the major sightseeings of Florence and also about 20 minutes walk from the city's central train and bus stations. As far as I understood the hotel is being run by the family and the staff is really very friendly and ready to help. The room I got was a very tiny one with very little space to move around the suitcase, but otherwise the room was clean. The AC in the room either didn't work or didn't work properly. The wifi works well throughout the entire hotel. The breakfast is adequate and normally includes some omelette, sausages, tomatoes, fruits, cereals etc. The coffee is from a machine though you can ask the staff to prepare an espresso or cappuccino for you. Also if you're observant

The hotel itself is small and older, but our room was clean, comfortable and well-appointed. The staff here are what truly make this hotel shine. From the receptionist to the maid to the breakfast crew, we felt welcomed and valued.

We checked in and were told we got the family suite not connected to the hotel. It was amazing! Great wifi, very friendly front desk. Restaurant across the street was fantastic and you get a 10% discount if you are staying at the hotel. Good location, near the leather market and il duomo.
