Our two night stay was great and comfortable. The staff was helpful and polite. The breakfast was nice and plentiful. The room wad adequate -- small but all we needed for sleeping. Being at the end of the Ponte Vecchio bridge made finding our way back to the hotel easy. Thanks for a great two days!

Stayed here September 2011. Wonderful to have everywhere on tap just outside the door, and not far to return to after full days. Rooftop terrace a real bonus, magnificent views. Room we stayed in had no view, but this terrace view more than made up for that. Helpful, friendly staff.

We stayed at the Pitti Palace for two nights during a brief visit to Florence and it was o.k. for that length of time as the location is so convenient being almost on the end of the Ponte Vecchio. The staff are helpful, the breakfast on the roof top is a bonus for the view and the room was clean...

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and helped us find places and make dinner reservations. The rooftop patio is lovely. The free breakfast is served up there, so you enjoy pretty views of the city while you eat. You can also get a drink and something to eat there around dinner time. The location...

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon. While we were impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and the quality of the food, we felt that in hindsight, we probably should have chosen somewhere else to go for our honeymoon. We had a room overlooking the bridge and were woken up almost every night by noise...

Dear Guest Thank you for your kind review, I am sorry that in some way you did not have a romantic stay with us, although you had a room overlooking the PONTE VECCHIO bridge, one of the most beautiful corners of Florence. I am also sorry that you could not practise your Italian with us, I think that our receptionist's...

I really recommend this hotel. It's only a three star but it is EXCELLENT. The rooms are lovely and clean with good air conditioning and free safes. The location is superb too - a stone's thrown from the Ponte Vecchio, the Palazzo Pitti and the Uffizzi Gallery and a ten minute walk to the Duomo or San Spirito. The views...

The hotel is within a very short walking distance to all the major attractions - you step out of the door almost straight on to the Ponte Vecchio. Well worth using public transport for trips further affield. Lovely breakfast with a good variety of fresh produce, and attended by very pleasant staff. Some hotels seem to have a very weak...

My spouse and I stayed around June 10-17, 2012 at a tack on to our flight there. It was very convenient. I liked the breakfast buffet on the top floor. The staff was friendly and kept the buffet well stocked. We used the wireless internet with our iPad. It was good to skype our relatives. The view from the top...

My husband and I spent 2 nights at the Pitti Palace Hotel which was recommended by friends. The location could not have been better! The hotel itself is located so close to everything, in which I found to be very convenient in exploring the city. It is just steps from the ponte vecchio, so close to the uffizi museum, duomo, restaurants and shopping markets. The hotel is a basic, clean hotel. Breakfast included which is nice. I was easily able to check in earlier...

Staying in Pitti

Neighbourhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
