Even before we arrived at the hotel we had already received an email confirming our needs for our stay. Then at the front desk this family run hotel could not have made us more welcome or comfortable. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The room extremely clean, well appointed, and even large considering Europe. Three of us shared a...

A family owned authentic Florentine Hotel. I found on Trip Advisor after searching high and low for perfect hotel. I found perfection. Rooms are warm and inviting with a tub for soaking after a long day walking. No need for electric converting devices--just plug gadgets in usb port. Breakfast is best on our Italian holiday. As many cappuccinos as I...

I thought this was a good value. It's a smaller type hotel, charming, clean, very nice and helpful employees. I was there for a week and would go back again. They serve breakfast every morning til 10am that included coffee, croissants, fruit, bread, salami, prosciutto, cheese, cereal, yogurt etc. Can't beat the location. Within walking distance to everything including the...

Hotel is situated near to Florence SMN railway station. Its also situated very near to academia museum and dumo. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast menu is small but sufficient. Rags in the corridor smell a bit different. Staff is polite and helpful. Kettle is not provided in the room hence we become dependent on Resturant's or cafes for...

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. My 18 year old daughter and I stayed at this hotel on our recent trip to Italy. The location was perfect, as it was easy to find (close to the Duomo. Rooms were clean and inviting. Staff was helpful and always pleasant with great suggestions.

Sweet little hotel, a few steps away from the duomo and within 15mins of train station. Lovely rooms, very clean and with nice bathrooms. Modern facilities in that old, vintage setting. Loved the breakfast.....especially the different types of pastries and croissants. The staff were very polite and helpful. Highly recommended. Location is super!!

The hotel is located in a great position with all the major sights just down the street. The staff were very accomodating and provided great recommendations. The rooms are large and character filled. Breakfast was abundant and made from local natural products. Would gladly return.

I greatly enjoyed my stay at this small hotel in a great location just a short walk from the Duomo. My room in the rear on the 4th floor was very quiet and had a nice view of the Duomo and Campanile. Such a pretty sight at night. The front desk staff were all friendly and helpful. Cosimo at the...

I spent a week at Il Guelfo Bianco. The location is great, within easy walking distance of the Duomo, Academmia and many restaurants and cafes. The staff were really friendly and helpful. They gave great dining recommendations (especially Manuel!). Cosimo made us feel like family at breakfast. My room was spacious, had a canopy over the bed and a good-sized...

A truly excellent hotel in Florence. Central location makes it easy to get to all the key sites. A fantastic team of staff who were friendly and helpful for booking to the day we left (and were able to book a number of the key sites in advance - so you can avoid the queues). And to top it all,...
