The staff was very attentive and welcoming during our stay in early September. Beautiful antique immaculate large room. Perfect location near Duomo. Breakfast was amazing. Referrals to restaurants were excellent and any sightseeing questions we had were always clearly answered. Perfect hotel. We will happily...More
Everything people are saying in the other reviews is true - well, the positive reviews I mean. Excellent location for visiting the city and for the railway, good, comfortable rooms very quiet and of good size, nice breakfast buffet for every taste, and a very...More
Loved this hotel and staff. Great free breakfast and can eat indoors or in a courtyard. Staff was very helpful in helping us secure reservations to things. Walking distance to the Duomo, Accademia Museum, shopping, the beautiful Ponte Vecchio bridge. We walked everywhere! Full day...More

I love this hotel. I don't think I will ever stay anywhere else in Florence. The staff is wonderful, (Ciao Antonella!), the location could not be any better. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed, and the included breakfast is delicious! It's just around the...More

San Lorenzo’s lively merchants shout out from behind stalls with an array of products in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Florence. Different ethnic groups join together in the large outdoor market of San Lorenzo and in the Central Market, a vast multi-floored building. Visitors are bound to fall in love with this area and in particular, with its variety of food, especially those focusing on
Florentine dishes as well as international selections. Nobody leaves San Lorenzo without a shopping bag in hand or with an empty stomach.

There isn't a garage attached/part of the hotel; however, the hotel has arrangements with what they call a 'partner-garage' for valet parking. You'll need to contact the hotel directly for details, prices, etc. Check their website and send them an email: they will respond. FWIW: I would never consider driving in Florence: too many issues with ZTL's and the fines are hefty. It's an easily walkable city.
I think check-in is either 2:00 or 3:00 pm and checkout is 12:00 noon. We've stayed here a few times and our rooms were ready for us in the morning (around 11:00 am) so we were able to check in earlier. Nice place, nice... More
