I have stayed at Hotel Argentina 3 times already (every time at least for a week) and I will keep going back there. It is close to Firenze SMN which is great especially if you have lots of bags, it is in a quiet neighborhood...More
The hotel is old, but clean. Our beds had clean sheets and the bath plenty of towels. We had tried to make a reservation at another hotel, but it failed. Amoma.com helped us find this place. Nothing to write home about, but its location is...More
I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Argentina, close to the US Consulate, friendly and helpful staff, fair breakfast. I would come again for sure. Room and bathroom is very small but if you are just spending the night, it is enough.

The room facilities were very old like furnitures, toilet and bed, with unpleasant smell. The small balcony was dirty and many cigarette ends. Wifi very weak and always disconnected. TV even no signals for our first night and shower tape was broken too that shocked...More

Santa Maria Novella train station welcomes the majority of the people arriving in Florence, which might explain the hectic pace. Commuters and tourists come across the constant hustle and bustle of the station before exiting, taking a few steps and stopping amazed in Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. It is impossible not to admire the the square, housing one of the most charming basilicas in Florence. The
area has plenty of local spots to taste Tuscan specialties, but don’t stop in the main streets alone; the narrower side streets always ensure satisfaction. The huge Parco Delle Cascine provides a solution to the need for a green area as well as a historic welcome in the form of a bronze statue of King Vittorio Emanuele II riding a horse.
