the rooms are ok. But this is not a type of hotel to spend a week in it. for a short stay only, the breakfast is at its bare minimum with just cold salami, cheese boiled eggs, slices of bread and some pastries. coffee you have to...More
We spent 1 night at this lovely hotel as part of our tour of Italy.
It was very close to the Ponte Vecchio and the Duomo.
The terrace on the tower gave the most amazing views of the city skyline.

Thank you for sharing your kind review on Tripadvisor!
We really appreciate to hear those wonderful words about our hotel.
We look forward to welcoming you again soon at Torre Guelfa.
We spent a week in the special room that has its own patio. It was wonderful, spacious, clean, and our private terrace as the only room on the fourth floor (entered through its private stairway on the third floor). The hotel offers a great breakfast...More

This hotel is as central as you can get but located in a side street. It's location is perfect. Good rooms, good service, good breakfast and not expensive. Re commanded. Do not miss to visit the tower. I stayed in this hotel 22 years ago...More
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the
Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
