La Residenza is a little boutique hotel in the heart of Florence, near the Duomo and the San Lorenzo market. You can easily walk to the major sites and good restaurants. For being where it is, it's remarkably quiet. The rooms are lovely, nice bathrooms, and helpful staff. Breakfast is adequate. One room even has a fireplace! The down elements...

Smack in the center of Florence on the trendy Via Turnabuoni is this friendly small hotel with a very friendly manager and staff and a nice roof top terrace. Ask Ricardo for tips an restaurants or trips and he will help you find really interesting places around town. We had a very nice stay. Anita & Bob

The location of this boutique hotel is absolutely perfect in the middle of the fancy stores on a quiet, walking only street right smack in the center of the historic district. The rooms were very comfortable and our room overlooked the main street which was pretty quiet. For the amount of money you will pay for other properties in this...

The location of La Residenza is unbeatable when you are visiting Florence and want to walk to all the main sights and sites. It is located on Via Tornobuoni, tucked among the upscale shops, just steps from the Arno at Ponte Santa Trinita, just one bridge downstream from Ponte Vecchio. The reception is on the second floor (American third) and...

the hotel could not be better located, yet you may have a quiet room, overlooking roofs and balconies, from which you can enjoy the typical atmosphere of central Florence. Simple rooms, carefully looked after and tasteful. The staff is smiling and helpful, you feel welcome and cheerfully supported as a visitor.

Great and helpful staff. Very good location. As the hotel is in historic building, the rooms are modest but clean and nice. Street view is nice but noisy. Ask for courtyard rooms. Roof terrace is lovely. Breakfast is modest but ok.

There is only one word to describe the location of this hotel: PERFECT! It’s basically on the main shopping street, along with all the luxury boutiques. Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi and Duomo are only 5 minutes walking distance. The train station is at most 10 minutes walking distance, even with large suitcases. This was also very helpful, since we made Florance...

Ok, lets get the basics over with....yes, the reception is on the second floor....easy stone stairs to walk up....but there's a lovely elevator! The breakfast is continental....you're in Europe NOT London! Save your arteries ya fatties! If you arrive in a car, then you have to pay an additional 25 Euros per day for the parking, which is private, very...

This was a great place for us to stay in Florence. The location is perfect-close to the train station, the Duomo, Uffizi Gallery, and shopping. The breakfast was quite nice with a sweet lady to serve you cappuccinos. The gentleman at the front desk was helpful and kind as well. The hotel is on the 2nd floor (3rd floor to...

Staying in Uffizi

Neighbourhood Profile
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
