Our stay was fine and location was excellent however we were a bit disappointed when as a group of 20 we couldn't get a night cap at 11.50. We stayed for 3 nights and on and off there was a pungent odour in the corridor. We were on the 1st floor. Couldn't fault the location and staff were friendly.

I have been visiting Florence twice a year for the past seven years and this hotel is the best I have stayed in....I will certainly be back again. Lovely roof top terrace with stunning views and all the staff are very polite and helpful. Furnished extremely tastefully with antique furniture and our room was lovely.....it was our very own 'room...

This hotel is both charming and luxurious, a rare combination to achieve. The rooms range from modest to elegant. We stayed in one of their nicer suites and the marble bathroom with large soaking tub was fantastic. The best part of the hotel is its location, right in the heart of the high fashion neighborhood. With Pucci, Dolce & Gabanna,...

Really nice hotel in great location. Staff are all wonderful. Definitely would recommend. Rooms are spacious (not huge) great air conditioning, breakfast is fabulous and rooftop bar perfect. Old charming building so very authentic. About a five minute walk to Ponte Vecchio.

This was the worst hotel we stayed in on our tour to Italy for our honeymoon. When we first checked in, they told us that we will be on the forth floor, to find ourselves taking the elevator to the forth floor and walking down three flights of stairs with our luggage. Once we finally arrived to our room, it...

This hotel is a gem. Very reasonably priced. Courteous and helpful staff in every facet. Lovely deluxe room with every accommodation, including a heated towel warmer. Bathroom amenities, efficient room service, a beautiful rooftop deck, a lovely coffee room/bar. There are a few hidden rooms/salons to relax in. They have a lovely breakfast area with fresh flowers. Actually, there are...

We had a beautifully furnished room . Love the authentic furniture and decoration throughout. Beautiful rooftop terrace and library reading room. Bar on 4th floor also serves drinks and light snacks to relax on the terrace. Nice breakfast buffet included. Location is very convenient to shopping and sightseeing. Love the character and charm of this hotel.

This was my second time staying at this hotel, this time I was travelling with my daughter and we had a quadruple room, which meant a pull out bed, the bed was only pulled out once in the 5 nights we were there so we did it our selves, tea bags were not replenished , no milk in the fridge...

We had a lovely stay at this hotel with our young children. The building is old and very charming. Our adjoining rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was adequate to get our day going. It was so centrally located, and our kids loved window-shopping the retail stores nearby, walking to the carousel, and just listening to the music in the square below....

They tired to give me a single room pretending it was a double room. There was clearly a small single bed and ONE towel in the bathroom. Initially they lied to my face and still told me it was a double room just like the one I had reserved and payed for. After hours of discussion and them trying to...

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
