The hotel is very well placed for all main sights: the Duomo (and its bells...!) are just outside; the Uffizi and Accademia Galleries are each a 10 minute walk away and there are shops, cafes and restaurants everywhere. The staff were charming and helpful, the...More

Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city
as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
No they don’t. I think about 6.00pm was last one. We weren’t home till about 9-10pm each night. They did start at 6.00am but really is an ideal location near everything including rail station and hop on hop off stops :)

Thank you for your question.
The garage is located in Via del Giglio nr. 24/red, it is not too far from the Hotel, which is in Vicolo degli Adimari nr. 2 (about 5 minutes on foot). You can also drive directly to the Hotel and leave the car in front of the entrance, and then we will call the garage: a driver will come to pick up the car.
We would like to inform you that we are located at the third floor of an old building, and that we have an elevator to reach the third floor, but it is not very big and you have to climb a few steps (about 5) to reach the elevator. We prefer to inform our you advance about this, in case your mother has trouble climbing steps.
