We were absolutely attracted by the hotel's location. It is like the best in the whole city or at least in the perimeter of the best ones. Hotel's terrace is overlooking Piazza della Signoria. Nevertheless, it can be hard to find an entrance door. We literally got lost in the alleys and for the first time in my life I...

Absolutely loved the location and the staff was fantastic. Its in an old and charming building (if you want modern this is not for you). The view from the breakfast room is one of the best in the city - you look right out onto Piazza Del Signoria. The Uffizi Gallery is one block away and its a 3 minute...

Have stayed a couple of time. Rustic italian feel in the most wonderful location. Right next to square for easy walking distance to everything in Florence. Staff are friendly and helpful, they even parked our car for us.

This is my second stay at this property and was just as please the second time. Wonderful location in the middle of everything. The rooms are comfortable and pretty with very high ceilings. The rooms can be a little noisy in the evening, due to the location. We found that it quieted down by 11:00 PM.

We stayed here for three nights in a room that included a loft. There were three of us in the room so that it was very convenient as far as having privacy. I just wish the loft had somewhere to hang clothes. But it had a single bed and a sofa and was pretty spacious. The location is great; 5...

The Hotel is very well positioned, and we get a full apartment, the decoration old, but very well preserved, there is a strange smell in the public areas. The location is the best you can get. The staff was very helpful, in all our requests.

I shared the Baroncelli Apartment with a friend for 6 nights in November, 2016. The apartment building is located directly across the entrance to the hotel. The smell of sewage upon entering the apartment building was stomach churning and was present every day. I would try to hold my breath upon entering the ground floor of the building until I...

So convenient to everything, and enabled us to pop by the room and drop off packaged, change shoes, etc. quite easily. Just a short walk to the bridges, shopping, etc. We ended up having to walk to the train station because of a marathon blocking the roads, and it was doable. Breakfast is fine, rooms are fine but sometimes get...

Small property in the center of Florence just around the corner from the Uffizi Museum and a few blocks from Ponte Vecchio. Location was ideal. Our room was spacious though looked at an alley. The commons living room was comfortable and spacious and looked over the amazing Piazza del Signoria. Breakfast was tasty with an array of bread, pastries, yogurt,...

The Relais Uffizi was a clean, quiet hotel literally just steps away from the Piazza del Signore. We were in the Annex, which necessitated climbing a steep flight of stairs before reaching the elevator. The bathroom was well equipped and clean. Breakfast offered many choices and the service was good. We really appreciated that the staff were able to obtain...

Staying in Uffizi

Neighbourhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
